Booked a room last minute. Got to the hotel and was upgraded to a Suite on the 21st floor. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. I was coming to do a training ride on my mountain bike through hadera to arrived at Aqueduct Beach in caesarea for sunset, and then continue my ride on to the hotel with lights on my bike. They were very accommodating at the hotel and stored my bike in the luggage room assuring me that it would be safe. After my ride I went straight to the Hotel bar and got myself a gin and tonic and a bagel toast to take up to my room to eat on my balcony. my Suite on the 21st floor was large clean with a beautiful view. I usually judge a hotel room by how good the pressure is in the shower and how well the water drains. This shower in a large bathroom worked beautifully! The suite is equipped with two smart TVs embedded into sliding doors that divide the bedroom from the salon area. Unfortunately the smart TV on the bedroom side wasn't working properly so I called downstairs at 10:30 p.m. and a technician immediately came up to try and fix it. He was not able to fix it so when I called down to reception at 11 p.m. they called me back in 5 minutes and offered me the option to change to a Suite 3 Doors Down from the one I was in. After packing my stuff and getting a new key I moved to the room down the hall and it was perfect. The same exact sweet Just Three Doors Down. The bed was comfortable to sleep in and in the morning I ate a delicious breakfast in the dining room with a sea view. The hotel has a large indoor pool and jacuzzis and a shared huge outdoor pool area where you can also barbecue sit on the grass or get a cup of coffee at the snack bar, not kosher. I also enjoyed my time sitting on the lifeguarded beach right behind the hotel, as a guest of the hotel there are chairs and plenty of Shady places to sit. The beach is in a Cove with perfectly temperature Waters. Next to the beach is a fish restaurant, not Kosher I think with showers and bathrooms attached to it. On the cliff above the beach is it Dairy kosher Cafe called Cafe hankin, with sweeping views of the whole Beach Cove and hotel from behind. I got to see the spot for only a minute when I tried to schedule a massage when I first arrived at hotel. Unfortunately there are no appointments available during my stay. Lesson learned definitely call to schedule my massage appointment before checking in. I will definitely be coming back for another visit to the Ramada hadera oh, I so enjoyed my stay.
Beautiful view of the ocean from our room. The room was large and had a welcomed divider from the sitting area. However it was spoiled by the peeling paint and damp on the wall as well as the huge water stain on the carpet outside. The shower needed some Tilex to remove the mold. Breakfast was very mediocre which is saying something given the legendary Israeli hotel breakfasts. And the area outside had litter all around the adjoining streets. Go only if you need a hotel in Hadera
The hotel has two swimming pools, indoor and outdoor. The outdoor one was very kids-friendly. Also a short walking distance from the beach (public beach, so in Saturday it was crowded, but Friday was ok) The rooms face the pool and the mediterranean and the view is amazing. Our room had two areas, living room and bed. The areas were separated by sliding doors with two TVs inside them, so the kids could watch something in the living room and we could watch something else in the bed. You could hear the other TV tho. Food was decent but not your typical experience from a hotel in Israel (unlike hotels in Eilat, for example) Overall our experiance was pretty good The kids had a great time over the weekend.
Very clean, spacious room, great beach front, and good food. A perfect two-night stay. The small private beach was perfect, indoor and outdoor pools. The only problem was high traffic in the mornings when you wanted to go shopping or to the golf course. Plan a few extra minutes to get out of the beach area.
The hotel has a really good location near beach, but the beach is public. The meals are pretty poor, there is a bad smell from the shower. A staff guys do you a favor when they listen to you. If you use wheelchair, or you have a baby carriage, it's a challenge to reach a swimming pool - the stairs only with carpet on it.
Stayed for business in the area. The hotel seemed to be quite new, however its already falling apart. Both nights the restaurant was closed and you have to go somewhere else ! Rooms are big but not very clean, I found Hairs everywhere. The gym is part of a apartment complex, very old, not really clean but good equipped.
The bedrooms were very spacious, with plenty of light and the beds were very comfortable. There is not much outside of the hotel other than the beach and beach cafe which are pleasant. Good place if you just want the pool and beach to chill out.
Hotels in Israel tend to be overpriced while the facilities sometimes are lacking or not well maintained and service can be problematic. This Ramada which I believe is run by a British firm, though an American enterprise proves my above statements false. This particular Ramada was very good. Before I arrived they called me to confirm my special requests, (such as a top floor, quiet and no smoking). A hostess named Ravital called me to inform me that everything was in place and they were waiting for me. Wow, what a nice touch. (After my stay they sent me a letter of appreciation) again, unusual for an Israeli hotel. OK, now to the hotel stay. When we arrived they upgraded our room to a suite near the top floor. We did not order a suite. The top story was 22 floors and we were given story 18. This was very nice of them. The suite was spacious, modern, comfortable and the lights were even already turned on! Something rare in Israel. We were very pleasantly surprised. There were two exits via sliding glass doors to the large rectangular balcony with a breathtaking view. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The sliding wall between the lounge and bedroom had two Flat Panel Displays imbedded into the sliding walls and the integration of the technology with the decor was unusually nice. For a non-Israeli the cost was ~143 Euros which is not all that bad for a 3 star and up hotel in Israel. For Israelis with the VAT the cost is ~167 Euros so while not cheap (during weekdays) the hotel provided a relatively good value for money. Good for you Ramada! One strange thing should be noted, if you want to access the public beach, cove behind the hotel you have to exit the front door and walk around to the beach. The hotel is positioned between the beach and a time-sharing resort on both sides of the hotel. The facilities, jacuzzis, saunas, workout rooms, swimming pool (indoor) were all top notch. We didn't visit the outdoor pool area so I can't judge. The breakfast was incredible, large and varied. All and all we highly recommend this fine hotel to any traveler in the Hadera area, it was good value for (a lot of) money. The only drawback was parking along the main boulevard and across from the hotel but there was ample parking in any event.
Even before my wife and I came to the hotel our impression was positive. Revital called stating that they will happy to receive us as guests. Then asked if there is something special we need (who does that?). We stated that we may come before check in time (pm). She said she'll do her best. Next morning at 11:30 am, while we're on our way to the hotel, Revital calls to tell us that our room is ready. "Anything else we can do for you?" Wow! We didn't pay that much! Did we? The hotel is well kept, 3 minutes from a beach that although not sensational is actually very good. The room was much bigger than expected with a huge tv room and a sleeping room with a tv as well. A big balcony. We were welcomed with a small box of delicious chocolates. My wife and I thought that maybe they confused us with someone really important :). The view was magnificent. The room was clean, the hotel is well maintained, the staff is well trained. I start feeling here that they should pay me for writing such a good review, but we should reward those that try hard and speak frankly about those that are too complacent, as you can see from my other reviews. The breakfast though is too good. If you're trying to lose wait just skip the breakfast. We were not allowed to check out one hour after 11 am, but you can't expect to get everything you ask for. Hadera may seen as a backwater town, and in a way it is:). But it's a pleasant little town where people are friendly and more laid back. If you get tired of cities like Tel Aviv or Jerusalem and want to lower your blood pressure, tis' the place. Negative: There is no parking in the premises. You have to park across the street.
Set on a small rocky cove this hotel has lots to offer. Lovely pool and easy access to the beach which has patrol staff for safety. Breakfast had amazing choice of foods to suit all tastes. Front desk staff most helpful with ordering taxis.
