Everything was just okay, despite booking the best room in the hotel. The TV had no channels, the breakfast buffet was very limited and small, the breakfast hours were short, the pool closes early, had to hold down the toilet flusher to get the toilet to flush, very weak shower pressure, more like a trickle, mini-fridge barely works, doesn't keep anything cold. Definitely not a VIP experience for the high price of booking.

I checked out September 25th so this is a review of the hotel as Cat Ba recovers from the typhoon. The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. The sky at and pool were damaged in the typhoon and were being repaired. Overall a good place to stay.

Had a great 2 nights as part of a longer travel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The guy up at the pool bar makes wicked cocktails. Breakfast was ok. Quite noisy in the rooms and some guests smoke in the rooms, so a strong smell of tobacco as soon as we stepped out our room.

Beautiful views and location but poor service

Beautifully located with magnificent water views but the staff was unfriendly and slow and the hotel double booked our room, so we had to downgrade for the first night and switch to the room we booked for the second and third nights. The restaurant service was extremely slow but the breakfast was awesome. The tub faucet was too slow to fill and the floor was dusty. No soap or lotion by the sink. The comfort of the bed, convenience, massage, and sunset views made up for everything though.

Första rummet vi fick hade en stark röklukt och lakanen var inte tvättade. Fick tillslut byta rum efter att ha fått ett nej första gången. Andra rummet hade ingen cigarettlukt så var mycket bättre men fortfarande allmänt smutsigt och svartmögel i badrummet. Även om utsikten från rummet var bra är hela området framför hotellet en byggarbetsplats.

Great place to stay.

Great hotel and great location. A lot of cleaning up both at hotel (skybar and pool) and outside after typhon. It was very clean so we was very surpriced when we found a small bug living in the wall by the window at the breakfast. Otherwise it was a hreat stay. Restaurant in the hotel had so good food. Overall a fantastic stay. If i come back i will book this hotel and hope i get a toom with view over the bay. We had view over half the bay now.
