Took getting used to...

Stayed 4days/3 nights.Took some getting used to. 1st flr reception&restaurant are modern, but the rest was more medical than 'spa'. Not what we were expecting, so took time to appreciate. Rooms-simple, spacious,comfortable&very clean. Furniture in great shape. Bathroom had window to room reducing privacy. BUT you see balcony view, so appreciated the decision. We paid extra for valleyview & it didn't disappoint! Altho a little loud at times w/tractors,cows&cars, but it was gorgeous &every sunset was different! Even saw fireworks in southern France on Bastille Day.Nice sized balcony w/little table/chair set. Altho would welcome lounge chairs.Friendly, helpful staff.Breakfast buffet had many choices but didn't change from day to day. No usual Euro veggies or sweet pastries,but had breads,jogurts,eggs,bacon,etc. Awesome coffee machine!Our massages were decent.The pool's water was perfect.Sitting area around pool was small & antiquated but said they are to rehab.Little touches like nuts/dried fruit & bottles of their water everywhere for their guests:) Had walking paths to towns, but unfort towns didn't have much & many restaurants were closed.What bothered us MOST was 1-ripped,old furniture covered w/blankets in halls gave nursing home feel 2-no place to relax outside of room. Outdoor area had uncomfortable beach slings NO one sat in. Remove old hall chairs & add outdoor couches,firetables&flowers wouldn't cost much but would totally enhance & create more of a spa experience.

Every floor had old ripped up furniture from the 90s w/ equally as old cotton blankets covering it and empty pillowcases used as decor?? I mean seriously! Who made this decision? Just b/c older people come here, does not make this acceptable.

Dejligt sted, vi havde 1 overnatning. Personalet var meget venlige og der var pænt og rent. Vi havde bestilt og betalt for værelse med bjergudsigt, det fik vi ikke. Ej heller tilbage betaling for fejlen, det er vi selvfølgelig ret utilfredse med.

Decent but extremely overpriced

The main hotel building is pretty good, cozy, recently renovated, however the annex building is far from that - it has a vibe of 1980s apartment complex, also not the cleanest. Views are lovely, as well as the area around. The breakfast is pretty bad - choices are limited, quantity is such that everything runs out quickly and, generally, the restaurant is far from great, offering canteen-quality food at Michelin-starred prices.

Wir waren nur für 1 Übernachtung dort und haben deshalb nicht alle Angebote wahrnehmen können. Wir wurden im Nebengebäude untergebracht. Das fühlt sich schon ein wenig wie "abgeschoben"an. Auch hätte die Dame an der Rezeption erwähnen können, dass es dort oben auch einen separaten Parkplatz gibt und uns nicht Koffer und Taschen eine lange Treppe nach oben schleppen lassen. Das Zimmer ist wirklich sehr klein, der Teppich teilweise im Bereich der Balkontür aufgelöst, der Toilettendeckel lose, der Eingang zur Dusche sehr eng. (Bei 120 kg schrammt es am Bauch, quer geht gar nicht). Das Bett ist nur von einer Seite zugänglich, die Matratze sehr weich und die Lampen am Bett sehen zwar gut aus, aber wir konnten sie nicht zum Leuchten bringen. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig, das Rührei fand ich zu wässrig, dafür ist es geschmacksneutral. Die Brötchen und die Brotsorten waren alle pappig. Das kann jeder Discounter besser. Dafür ist die Aussicht sehr achön. Noch ein Tipp am Rande, wenn das Navi sagt, du bist da, musst du noch ca. 1,5 km fahren. Man könnte allerdings im Ort ein Wegweiser aufstellen. (Im dunklen findest du das Hotel nie 😀)

Spitzen Hotel

Ein erstklassiges Hotel. Klasse Ambiente, schöne Zimmer mit Balkon und Aussicht auf das Tal und die umliegenden Berge. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön eingerichtet mit tollem Ausblick. Das Schwimmbad und die Sauna konnten wir leider nicht nutzen da wir uns die Landschaft mit Freunden durchforstet haben. Alles in allem ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt. Das Personal ist äußerst nett und hilfsbereit.

Zu teuer und veraltetes Nebengebäude

Ich wurde trotz der hohen Zimmerrate ins Nebengebäude geschickt. Ist gemäss den Fenstern und des Designs aus den 70er Jahren. Ich fühlte mich wie in einem Schwesternwohnheim. Alles sehr klein und sehr enges Badezimmer mit WC. Für den wirklich teuren Zimmerpreis, vor allem in dieser Gegend nicht akzeptabel. Das Frühstück im Haupthaus war sehr reichhaltig und frisch.

Schöner Ausblick, schönes Zimmer. Gerne wieder.

Ich bin erst gegen 22 Uhr angekommen. Die Rezeption war nicht mehr besetzt, allerdings lag alles für mich vorbereitet an der Rezeption, so dass ich komplett kontaktlos einchecken konnte. Das zimmer war sauber. Das Bad frisch renoviert. Der Wellnessbereich ist von 8-21 Uhr geöffnet. Das Hotel liegt einsam und entschädigt mit einem sehr schönen Blick. Frühstück ist gut organisiert. Frisches Spiegelei mit Speck sehr zu empfehlen.
