I've waited a couple of weeks to long to write this review, this place is perfection. The amazing service starts at the airport when you arrive in Male, we were greeted by hotel staff who was waiting for us at arrivals. He took our bags and walked us over to check us into our next flight and escorted us to a lounge. Once we were on our next flight and arrived at the tiniest of airports again someone from Park Hyatt was waiting for us, it was great to never have to wait or wonder where we were going because there was someone there every step of the way. The boat ride was a bit bumpy to say the least but we arrived just fine and were greeted by the hotels manager who escorted us straight to our room since we had arrived quite late. (It took us 12 full hours to get there from Dubai- including the boat ride to the hotel) Our room was beautiful we stayed in villa 29, we considered upgrading to a pool villa or over the water however we are glad we didn't since over the water rooms had quite a bit of a walk over to where everything is located. This place was beautiful we were told they were at 60% capacity while we were there however we would sit on the beach most days and be the only ones there! It was great! This is definitely somewhere you go with your significant other to escape the world! The food was delicious and the chef at the Island grill was very nice! He came and greeted us every night we had dinner there! I can't rave enough about this place! I can only say I wish they would've asked if we were celebrating anything as it could've been made a little more special. (We had just gotten engaged) Something else to consider is how long it takes to get there, this time could vary because the hotel is the one who sets up the plane from male to the other airport and then the boat ride, another thing i'd consider is that this place offers no entertainment, there are sports and activities for you to do but the only night they offer some sort of entertainment is on Friday nights where we were told they hold a cocktail hour. (We weren't there for that) I would've given them a 4 because of the lack of entertainment but I feel it isn't fair since this place is definitely a couples haven and travelers seek all sorts of different things. However due to lack of entertainment we both believed 5 days was more than enough time!

Cannot say nice enough things about this resort. It felt like we were on our own private island, barely seeing other guests, tons of privacy. The was was crystal blue like in postcards, soft sand, and lush green. Great for snorkeling and diving. However, when we did want to socialize and interact the common areas were great, the food was lovely, the little bar and happy hour drinks on the beach were fantastic and the staff was lovely. They also had great activities for those who wanted, so I did yoga in the morning and we went for clean-up activity at one of the neighboring islands. We came with our little girl who is nearly 2, and the resort was so great with her, had toys for her to play with, a little cot in our room for her to sleep in, little plastic cups and plates for her food. Considering that they have very few guests with children, we were pleasantly surprised by this, and the icing on the cake was that she found a little friend to play with, little Nesta, who she still asks about a week after leaving the resort.

Needed a holiday with my gorgeous wife to recharge the batteries from work and thaw out from Melbourne's 2 degrees winter. Park Hyatt ticked every box. Gourmet meals all day, cocktails and a great wine list, pleasant and happy staff, no rain, 31 Celsius to 28 overnight, coral reefs, swimming with small sharks and octopus (small and not intimidating at all). Could not fault it here and highly recommend. Guests tend to stay to themselves as couples and with small infants. We enjoyed two 90 minute signature massages at the spa. OMG!!! You cannot visit here without trying this.

The experience from start to finish was truly a dream come true. What sets this hotel apart from any other is their service. The moment you arrive in Male, a friendly staff member greets you and brings you to the domestic airplane that will take you to another island, where you are again greeted by another staff member to take you on the boat that leads to the Park Hyatt Maldives island. It is a longer journey than most, but the staff being by your side through every step of the way makes you feel completely safe and relaxed. You even get lounge access at the airport if the plane hasn't arrived yet. Other perks to a farther island towards the south is better weather and complete paradise, no sound of planes in the sky to disturb you. From the moment you land on the resort island, you are welcomed by many staff members and greeted by the general manager. From the beginning, you receive sincere service, which stays with you throughout the entire stay. The room attendant is constantly checking your room to keep it in perfect shape without disturbing you, the dining staff begins to remember your taste preferences during your stay, and a personal staff member is with you during the entire stay on-call and at your disposal. The actual architecture of the hotel is impeccable, a combination of modern mixed with the traditional elements of Maldivian culture, everything always kept in a pristine shape. The swimming pools all have an infinity edge that give it a flat, clean surface. The beauty of the island itself can't be captured in photos and the hotel does everything in its power to encourage sustainability and maintain the natural beauty with its coral reef. My husband and I were worried we may get "bored" after 5 days since we are usually the adventure types but there is plenty to do, even if you don't do any of the excursions. Snorkeling alone and the spa treatments will quickly fill your time. If you go to the Maldives, it's no question that you must pick Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa.

We stayed at the Park Hyatt Hadahaa for a week from May 18. It was our second trip to the Maldives so we had some idea what to expect but were blown away Hadahaa. Airport Arrival, Transfers & Check In We were greeted by a Park Hyatt staff member as soon as we exited the luggage claim area. We were escorted through to the domestic airport where the staff member arranged for us to be checked in for our flight and then escorted us to the VIP lounge to wait. Unfortunately, our flight was delayed by about an hour due to bad weather earlier in the day causing ongoing flight delays and then there was some confusion with the VIP lounge staff who sent us down to the departure gate for the incorrect flight meaning we left the lounge about 45 minutes earlier than required. The flight itself was short and offered spectacular views of the atolls and islands as we flew over. Upon landing at the local airport we were met by more Park Hyatt staff who drove us to the wharf for our 30 minute speed boat journey to the island. We were provided with cool towels, iced tea and cookies. We were lucky enough to spot some dolphins frolicking on the way. We were met at the arrival jetty by the resort manager and our personal host Jay. As we were late arriving to the resort due to our delayed flight we were taken straight to our villa and completed check in there. There were arrival drinks, a bottle of champagne and homemade marshmallows with chocolate dipping sauce waiting for us in our room. Villa We were assigned Water Villa no. 44. This is the last of the villas on the jetty in the water villa category before the Sunset Water villas start. Upon booking we had requested a villa as far along the jetty as possible so it was great to see our request had been filled. The water villas offer direct access to the stunning reef. We spent countless hours lounging on the sunbed outside watching fish, reef sharks and turtles swim past. The villa is surrounded by floor to ceiling windows offering uninterrupted views. The doors fully retract into the walls allowing the villa to be opened up. During the afternoon the screen panels do need to be closed as the villas are fully exposed to the afternoon sun. Previous reviews had stated that the villas can become too hot but we found with the air conditioner and ceiling fan on we were quite comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable although the pillows weren’t quite to our taste. A little too soft. The bathroom was huge with the biggest bath I’ve ever seen and both the shower and toilet had a glass roof giving an open-air feel. On our last day we experienced a very heavy sudden downpour which resulted in our room, and especially our bathroom becoming badly flooded after rain came in between the doors. Housekeeping arrived as soon as the rain stopped and had the mess cleaned up within 10 minutes. House Reef As avid snorkelers one of our primary reasons for choosing the Park Hyatt Hadahaa was its house reef. The range of fish easily rivalled what we have seen on the Great Barrier Reef. We were lucky enough to spot turtles, reef sharks and a moray eel. Unfortunately the surrounding reef has suffered from recent coral bleaching events, much like the Great Barrier Reef, which has resulted in much of the coral dying. We found that snorkelling along the drop-off between the water villa jettys and the arrival jetty offered the most live coral as the water felt like it had some cooler currents running through the area which likely protected much of the coral. It was easy to see that once upon a time the reef would have been spectacular and hopefully one day it will recover. At night look closely and you can see feint blue flashes of bio luminescence. Food & Beverages Having stayed at another Maldives resort last year where the food was average at best we were somewhat apprehensive about what to expect this time. We were proved wrong and the food was easily five star dining each night. On the night of my birthday we had a private beach dining experience. After our meal the chef came out to speak to us to let us know that we were the first to try the Chateaubriand as it had only just been added to the menu and requested our feedback. It’s not often that a chef personally comes out to get feedback on a meal so the gesture was greatly appreciated. He also offered to make us anything we felt like eating for the remainder of our trip if we felt like something off the menu provided he had the ingredients available to make it. (The chateaubriand was delicious by the way). The birthday cake provided for dessert was also a lovely surprise. Highly recommend trying the seafood night as well. Drinks at the bar were delicious although expensive but that is to be expected in the Maldives. Things to Do Highlights for us besides the snorkeling were the Managers cocktail party on the beach on the Saturday night with canapes and a demonstration of traditional Maldivian music and dance. Guests were encouraged to get up and join in the dancing if they wanted to. The back of house tour is also well worth trying out. The resorts commitment to sustainability and protecting the surrounding environment is to be admired. The spa is also well worth a visit. I also highly recommend taking some time outside on you deck in the evening enjoying the millions of stars and shooting stars that can be seen. Staff A few special mentions for staff: Jay our personal host for the first 5 days . We had another host for the remainder of our trip whos name I’m afraid I can’t remember. Both hosts were there when you needed them, checking in each day to see if there was anything they could do to help however they also made sure to respect your privacy and give you space. Also, Shuja from the dining room who was always happy for a chat and a laugh at meal times. Overall experience The island itself is stunning. It is heavily vegetated creating a lush tropical environment. The sand is pure white and the water a stunning shade of turquoise. At night, turn off all your villa lights and go sit outside to see the Milky Way spread above you and mimicked in the ocean by blue flashes from bioluminescent plankton. The common areas of the resort are all beautifully designed. Make sure you apply plenty of sunscreen. As Australian’s we’re pretty accustomed to strong sun but even we got caught off guard by the strength of the sun and ended up with a nasty sunburn. We left the Park Hyatt Hadahaa with a great suntan and plenty of wonderful memories to last us until we get to return one day.

I could not write a review earlier as it has to be at least 90days from your last review on the property. Last time we stayed was durring the christmas and new years.. In february my daughter got some days off school so we just had to go again! This time only for 8nights, we could not stay longer:( because of the school:( but it was even better than before!!! It was like coming back home, when we arrived all of our friends(hotel staff) were waiting for us and were shouting my daughters name.. That was incredible. We were taken straight to the villa by our host Feng chao who hosted us also last time! Thank you for everything Feng chao! Well everything and everyone at the resort are just amazing.. Cant wish for more! They even organised a surprise bday party for my mum at the water villa, we always stay at the pool villa as there is direct beach access, but the sunset at the water villa was beautiful! The resort it self is very privat, quite paradise, very clean and neet! Special thanks to lovely Nesta, Rachel, Mariano, Ximena, Feng Chao, Ji Sun, Jay, Nicole and many others who made our second stay even more special! Thank you dear friends! See you soon!

This is just as beautiful as the picture postcards look. From arrival at Male airport the Hotel Greeter looked after us very well to ensure we were transported by plane and boat to the island where we were welcomed. Our over water villa allowed us to step into the clear water to snorkel each morning to enjoy the variety of fish. The staff were very friendly, and the food was plentiful, with lots of choice on the half board option. We were very lucky to have great sunny weather for just about all our stay.

Park Hyatt Hadadaa was everything we ever dreamed it would be - and even more. The island and resort is beautiful, clean and pieceful. The guest service was out of the ordinary. Truely a "lovers paradise".

We went to Maldives last year ! It was the most incredible place we ever stayed.! The water is completely clear the sand and hotel facilities are amazing > The staff very attemptive and courteus ! Strongly recommended !

This was one of my best trip ever with my friends and would love to go back again. Couldn't review last time but a must to comment on... We were well taken care by our personal hostess throughout the stay. Dinners were the most memorable thing and the management cocktail-unforgettable. You would enjoy your glasses of wine with the sun set and a boduberu show, they would even ask you to join them. Overall a great getaway at Hadahaa' Thank you for the beautiful time there!!
