In the busy randstad a quiett pittoresque spot. Correct welcome en simple clean well kept rooms with a vieuw on a lake and everything you need. Nononse approach. Receptionist very friendly. Did not use for breakfast or dinner. Looked good.

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the location was a lovely little get away and the view was nice but other than that there wasn't a lot going on. The food was extremely overpriced, the breakfast included was basically bread and eggs and it is far out of anything worth doing. But if you are looking for a nice little getaway then this is your place!

To be honest this hotel is a good basic hotel, but not worth the 5 star rating. Entrance is nice, however almost all the rooms come out in a main hall. Do bog chance of noise in the night (had no issue with this). The room is dated, but comfortable. I Could not lock the door at first, but found a way (by pushing part of the lock on the side of the door) diner was ok for the price, but I was disappointed with the breakfast. We had choice, but I missed quality. E.g. fruit juice that came out of syrop machine.

The hotel is located on a lake and has a nice view, however the rooms were dirty, carpets had a lot of dirty marks , there is also nothing extra in the room like a kettle or a phone or piece of soap in basin. The room also was not cleaned we'll at all!and it is not exactly well priced either! We also decided to stay there as it has an indoor pool for the kids, we were very disappointed to find out that you cannot actually use the pool during the day only after 7 at night, not nice for kids at all. Breakfast was also very basic not much available. This hotel was very disappointing and spoiled the last 3 days of my holiday! It is definitely not 4 star , maybe a 2 star.

The location was beautiful, nice & peaceful; reception desk staff extremely cheerful & helpful. Basic rooms, nothing special and a little dated. Breakfast buffet not too bad, but scrambled eggs were both rubbery and crispy

Very bad. Upon arrival. Not properly cleaning in the bathroom. Really a 2 star hotel. Fletcher hotels did this now 3 times to me and I avoid booking with this hotel chain. Avoid!!!!!!! There are much better priced hotels in the surrounding. For a family with children and no huge standards this would work cause of the pool.

It's a 10 min drive from the normal road. The view of the room was a great lake wich was nice. The room itself was not a 4 star hotel at all. It was not proper cleaned, I even found a left behind underpants behind the curtains. The furniture literally falls apart. The bathroom was the contrary of the room. It looked renewed and it was clean. If you want to leave after 23:00 then the door is looked so you have to call the staff. And wen you come back you have to call a number so they open the door for you.

We have just had a friends car trip and stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is in a beautiful area and the staff were all excellent. We traveled in 4 classic cars which they allowed us to park in their staff car park so they were very safe for us. (I was worried when I read in a previous review that the actual car park was 600 meters away when it is probably only 60!!!!!! We had a great time in the pool and also ate at the hotel 2 nights. The food was excellent - although one criticism is that there isn't a massive choice - although they then made excellent toasties for one awkward member of our group. Every member of staff was lovely and friendly - spoke English excellently - and pampered to our every need. On the one night we decided to eat out the 8 person taxi crashed on the way to pick us up, so the lady on the desk got us all free beers while we waited even though the delay wasn't the hotel's fault in any way. The following night we stayed back in the hotel (as taxis are expensive for 8!!) NOTE that this hotel is not in walking distance to bars or restaurants - but to us the serenity (apart from us) was the attraction to the hotel WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK - whether in our car club or maybe with our wives next time We all loved the hotel & staff

One needs a car to reach this hotel. Parking is 600 meters away and walking is on a badly lit rural road. I did not like this. Positive: the room is spacious. Staff is friendly and helpful. Reception area is nice, idem for the breakfast and dining area. Breakfast itself is good. Would appreciate a fresh coffee (espresso) machine! The price of 82 euro (without tax) incl. breakfast and free parking is very reasonable. We did not use the pool, but it looked nice. Not so positive: no aircon (in summer the rooms must be hot), opening the balcony door will bring in the noise of the close by highway. The mattress in room 202 is probably 30 years old as we could feel the irong springs: very uncomfortable. The furniture is dated, the TV is small and the door is locked using one of these typical hotel keys with a heavy weight on it. Not sure if I can recommend this hotel.

This is located in a quiet "recreational" area. There are some nice walks in the vicinity and quite a lot of leisure activities (e.g. indoor skiing, golf, canoing). The bedrooms are of a reasonable size, but very cheaply furnished. The television is an old CRT screen, connected to an analogue signal. Only Dutch stations and most of these unwatchable due to the poor signal quality. But WiFi works well. We had taken the dinner option, which is a a fixed three course menu, without choice. The main courses (steak on night, hake fillet the next) were fine, but the first courses (chicken salad one night, pasta salad the next) were unpleasant. Service was OK. Breakfast buffet was very limited and the service chaotic. Everything, even the plates, ran out at one stage. Coffee and water for tea came in vacuum jugs, which isn't a good system. The hotel advertises a wellness centre, but this wasn't satisfactory. The pool is OK, but both the steam room and infra-red sauna was broken. My wife had a massage, but they didn't have a proper massage table (with a hole for you face) so found the experience uncomfortable. The sauna area is bit scruffy and run down. In general this hotel really needs a face lift. It is a shame as the location and facailities could make it a good hotel.
