Poor communication and mold in bathroom. I asked twice about the airport shuttle they mention on their listing. They never replied eith time. There is mold in the shower.

Terrible service

They never provided instructions for check-in. Once I got to the property after my flight landed, there was no one to open the door. I was not able to get in. I had to book another hotel and got a taxi to take me there.

Perfect!

Clean, Comfortable & very Convenient! Ingrid was the perfect hostess, very helpful, and the Guesthouse is close to excellent restaurants and shops! The ferry, about 10 minutes walk away takes you across the harbour to Valletta, the old town with its cobbled streets and wonderful places to visit! Also, on the bus route! Recommended! 😉👍

Great location for dining out and bus routes and easy access to Valetta. We arrived late and received excellent email instructions about access in the room after the foyer was locked. However some details could have been better, like the opening windows in the room didn't fit the frames well and rattled in the wind at night (temporary fix was easy but should not have been necessary). Overall good value though. Beware that most of this part of Malta is currently a buiding site.

Great location and value for money

I stayed here for over a week and would highly recommend. Great location and value for money, and the staff are lovely and accommodating. Note if staying in the accessible room on the ground floor there is a curtain rather than a door for the bathroom.

Great location and super friendly staff. Even thought the hotel is fairly simple, it has all needed amenities to make your stay comfortable, is well located and have a very nice staff.

The room number six is very clean, wide, new. There is a kitchenette in the room, with fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee, tea, jam, mineral water and fresh bread/croissants daily. The area was great right near the waterfront. We needed to get in touch at dawn and we were promptly answered. 100% recommended.

Improvements suggested!

We encountered some issues related to our arrival due to the Hotels.com (possible) irresponsibility, not the guesthouse's. Hotels.com you have to contact the owner immediately after confirming the booking and not to create situations when guests arrive at the place and there is a surprise for them and owner about the present booking. Regarding the guesthouse, perhaps we got unlucky (or not), but the room we got was not in a proper condition to host guests - many spottable cleanliness issues, very heavy and humid air in the room and no door at the bathroom, but a curtain instead. The manager was helpful and cooperative enough so that we can terminate our stay in these unbearable conditions and look for another accommodation.

The area was great right near the waterfront and really great value for money - we had a spacious room and balcony. Thomas the manager made sure we were well taken care of and went above and beyond to help us! Fresh bread was a nice touch - this place made our stay so thank you so much (: Would definitely recommend!
