24-05-23 AWESOME NEW DECK just completed. Ready for Summer 2025! Speaking of.... ONE week opened up. Grab it fast!

Summer Tide is a sprawling gulf front home with 8 bedrooms and 5 baths, sleeping up to 26 people. It is located approximately 5.2 miles west of Hwy. 59 on West Beach Blvd., in Gulf Shores. A uniquely designed one level home, Summer Tide features a south and a north wing, each with a fully equipped kitchen and an open deck that wraps around the east side of the property. The layout for this home allows added privacy and is perfect for multiple families, or a family wanting some separation between adults and children.

The South wing of Summer Tide has four bedrooms, including 3 bedrooms with a king bed in each, one room with two double/single bunk beds, and a bunk room with two single bunks. There are three full baths in this wing: two private and one Hollywood bathroom (shared by the rooms with the queen bed and two twins). The master suite in this South wing is gulf front with picture windows and a tub–soak away your worries and enjoy the view.

The North wing of Summer Tide also features picture windows on the East side of the property offering views from the living area and kitchen. There are three bedrooms, each with a king bed, and two full baths (one private and one shared).

Both living areas offer good great gulf views and each includes a queen sleeper sofa for a bit of extra sack space. A ground floor entry features a foyer and sleeping area with two bunk beds that would be great for four children. The covered parking for Summer Tide is ample.

Big pool! 27x19x3-5', Rectangle. Pool lounge furniture provided. Added a propane gas pool heater, so YES the pool is heatable to a maximum of 82' (the high side of recommended rec pool temps) to take the chill off! This service is by request in advance with a per night surcharge for length of stay (gas is expensive right now, this does not actually recoup the cost!). Fee subject to change due to incredibly high gas rates right now. Any online quote will show the optional fee and its current pricing. You may also add it after booking by simply requesting the pool be heated any time after making the reservation and at least a few days before check in so we can get it on before you arrive. See our FAQ about heatable pools too.

No smoking please, but feel free to eat lots of shrimp, bask in the warm sun, and have a great time!

Perfect family house

Family Vacation 2025

The Summertide house was great for our family vacation! There was plenty of room for the 14 of us – 8 adults and 6 children. The house was just like it appeared in the advertisement. The bedrooms and the living areas were nicely furnished and the place was very clean. Everyone in our family loves to swim so we really enjoyed the beach and the large swimming pool. The location was great – away from the crowds but close enough to easily to get to shops and restaurants. Everyone agreed that this was our best family vacation ever. Would love to come back.

Perfect ! Our adult children said it was the best vacation ever. It allowed our 8 grandchildren, 3 boys from Va. and 5 girls from Texas to become better acquainted. The beach is beautiful, quiet and natural and fishing was wonderful. Quite an accommodating home and location.

Summertide in the summertime!

This home was everything we could’ve hoped for — and then some! It was spotless when we arrived, and the pictures truly don’t do it justice. Absolutely five-star lodging! The bathrooms were spacious and plentiful, and we never ran out of hot water. Every bedroom was cozy with queen-sized or larger beds and had its own fan for added comfort. We didn’t even find the second washer and dryer until our last day — that’s how spacious this house is!Our group included couples and singles, and everyone had plenty of room. The second kitchen was a bonus for food and fridge space. TVs in every room, tons of pillows, and multiple thermostats kept everyone happy and comfortable. The large glass dining table was perfect for group meals, and the downstairs entertainment area by the pool was ideal for our crawfish boil!And the beach? Incredible! Powdery white sand, perfectly warm water, and an easy, pleasant walk from the house. We carried our beach gear back and forth each day (can’t leave items overnight), and it never felt like a hassle. Plenty of rinse-off spots made cleanup easy. The location was also fantastic — just far enough from a nearby festival to avoid crowds, but close enough to enjoy the fireworks and lights from the beach. Covered parking was the unexpected hero of the trip. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great for large groups with kids

We had 5 families in our group with kids ranging from 2 to 13. This house worked out very well. Plenty of beds and each couple had their own bedroom. The pool was nice and large and the kids enjoyed playing there between going to the beach. Speaking of the beach, you can’t get any closer. A quick walk and you’re there. A nice deck to watch those on the beach and watch for dolphins, which we saw every day. The house is a little bit of a drive from town, so if you are looking to dine out every night, you will be driving a bit.

Perfect spot

This house was great! Had everything we needed. We loved the two separate wings of the house for privacy when needed. The proximity to the beach can’t be beat. The pool was well maintained, plenty of chairs. Private beach was a game changer as well. We loved staying at summertide!

Family vacation

We have a great stay. We had a few hiccups as with any rental but they came to fix it that day…. Very timely and listened to whatever we needed!!! Beautiful home and we made so many family memories that will last us a lifetime. We had a lot of space and fortunate enough to have two kitchens to cook that was a blessing!

Great home

The layout of the home and the fact it’s right on the beach worked well for my family. The pool was used often during the evening or when the kids were through with the beach. Very little activity on the beach during our stay. The home is spacious and can accommodate multiple families with two kitchens. Close enough to town but far enough away from the large condos. Well equipped kitchens so stock up if you’re cooking. The owners were very responsive to any questions we may of had during our stay. Enjoy!

Perfect beach house

I don't think we could have found a better place to stay in Gulf Shores. The one story layout was convenient but also spacious. The two separate kitchens and living areas worked especially well for our group. The location just a little way from downtown was so private. We pretty much had the gorgeous beach to ourselves. Although we spent a lot of time on the beach, we used the pool everyday too. It was clean and a very nice temperature. Both the management company and owner were also very responsive to questions and checking to make sure everything was OK. Check in and checkout were a breeze and so convenient when we had groups arriving at different times. If we plan a gulf Shores trip in the future, we would definitely try to stay here again.

Great Family Fourth!

Very nice, clean house in a great location. We had a wonderful time with our kids and their families at Summertide. The house is big and has two sitting areas so there was room to spread out & not worry too much during nap times. We spent lots of time on the beach & then enjoyed the pool there. We had to call about the AC once & the repair guys came immediately. We also enjoyed watching the neighbor’s fireworks from the porch. Our grandkids had so much fun, well worth it!

Annual family beach trip

Everything was wonderful… location on the beach, plenty of room for 21 people of all ages! First home of the many we have rented that had plenty of coffee cups, silverware, kitchen cookware etc.! Big pool, comfortable beds, strong internet… the list could go on and on!! Certainly a family favorite.

Private Oasis for Making Memories

Beautiful home with private pool and beach. Loved the space the separate living areas and kitchens provided for our family vacation. Ocean view with the beach only steps over the dune. Great Family Vacation home!

Summer tide was the perfect home for us. We had 13 in our party ages 2-62. It was so nice to be able to eat dinner all together in one room. The older kids loved being able to have there own space and the younger cousins were happy to have a week long slumber party. We loved only having to take a few steps to be on the beach. There were days we were the only family on the beach. It was nice to have the pool right under the living room windows so we could keep an eye on the older kids. It was truly relaxing being away from all the noise and bustle that we usually have when we stay in condos closer to town. The communication before, during and after our stay was always helpful and courteous. It was also great having a entry code vs picking up keys. We were well taken care of while we were there. Trash, pool tech and one minor maintenance call were friendly and non intrusive. We loved everything about our stay here. We may never go back to condo rental again.

Don't hesitate, book now!

We loved our week at Summertide! It was the perfect get away for an extended family trip. There was plenty of space to spread out as well as a large size common area that was easily big enough for all of us to come together and hang out. It was wonderful to have the back area that closes off to the main section of the house. We could easily put toddlers to bed and stay up playing board games with the teens and not wake the littles. The house decor is being updated and it is beautiful! The bedspreads are now all white and the couches in the main living room are leather and very comfortable. Being right on the beach was awesome as well. We saw dolphins every day from the kitchen/living room windows as well as while sitting on the beach. We paid for the pool to be heated and kids enjoyed that as well! We had quick responses from the owners and they were eager to help when notified...very thankful for them!! Highly recommend also stopping by Cherry On Top for dessert if you book here. It's an ice cream place just up the road and the new owners have been there just 2weeks. They are precious and their ice cream and snow cones were so tasty. Definitely would stay at Summertime again! Thanks for a fabulous week filled with so many fun memories for our family!
