The First floor main living space in this charming Beach House has been professionally decorated with soft colors, Glam furnishings, and Modern chic décor. There is large comfortable seating for 8 plus and a large 65" smart HDTV. Just off the main living area is a spacious deck with a beautiful view of the Ocean & Sunset. There is a formal dining area with a table big enough for 7 and bar seating areas. The kitchen has new stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked with all pots, pans, cooking utensils, & plates & glassware so you can make yourself at home during your Gulf Shores vacation. Behind the Kitchen is a full bathroom for your guests to enjoy and the Guest bedroom with a king bed, Smart TV, and a private bathroom with a luxurious shower.

Upstairs are the 3 guest bedrooms. All bedrooms have wall-mounted smart HDTVs and bathroom access. ALL bedroom has a private bedroom with a full ensuite bathroom. Master bedrooms have access to the deck overlooking the Ocean.

The washer and Dryer are also located on the second-floor hallway.

The Pool area has 4 Modern Pool lounge chairs and 4 patio chairs for seating. At night, LED lights will illuminate the pool for better ambiance and an Outdoor BBQ grill is also available so you can cook your favorite grills throughout your stay. Pool heating is available for an additional fee for reservations staying between September 1 - June 1. If pool heat is desired, the pool can be heated to 82-87 degrees for a fee of $85/night. Arrangements must be made within 48 hours of check-in. Over the summer months, the pool temp stays 80-90 degrees.

Main floor Patio has 4 Adirondack chairs with side tables and Top floor patio has 4 additional Adirondack chairs with 2 end tables and has the best view of the Ocean and all year round amazing sunset views.

Ground-level provides ample parking spaces under the first-floor main level. It also has an outside storage unit that houses wagon, ice coolers, and pool toys so that you don't have to bring any bulk items to fully enjoy the beach experience.

House-trained pets are welcomed; $200 for 1st pet and $100 for the 2nd pet. (max 2 pets, 30lbs max weight limit each). Please note that VRBO only charges for one pet so if you will bring two (2) we will request the additional fee via VRBO payment request center.

We don't offer refund due to weather, natural disaster/during major holiday or circumstances out of our control like wi-fi connectivity issues etc.

If you need a pack 'n play or high chair during your stay, please let us know ahead of time and we will have these items waiting on you when you arrive. Also, please know that product liability and product usage is your responsibility.

During Hangout Fest rental week (May 19-21); refundable security deposit of 2500 is mandatory.

Guests must have at least a 4 star rating for all prior stays to book the home.

Great for family

We really enjoyed this property. The location was just far enough from Hwy59 to have less traffic congestion. It was an equal walk to the beach or to the lagoon to enjoy the sunset. Four bedrooms, each with their own bathroom let our adult only group enjoy privacy when desired. Jia seemed very appreciative of suggestions. We have do e many rentals in the Gulf Shores area, and this one is near the top. We hope to return to it the next visit to Gulf Shores..

Overall a nice stay!

We had some trouble with the keypad lock and had to find the spare key (it did state this in the checkin information), but it was somewhat frustrating just trying to get inside. The house is really pretty and it felt clean. The kitchen was my favorite spot, but it could use some new pots, pans, and baking ware. It seems it was missing several pieces. The house was supplied with plenty of toiletries and that was very nice. We had trouble with the tvs because the remotes were missing. We reached out to host and she responded that maintenance would take care of it. Unfortunately the maintenance did come by, but never brought any remotes while we were there. We ended up using one remote to change tv settings on each tv. Again, it didn’t ruin our trip but would have been nice to have all remotes. The closet outside was stocked with chairs, umbrellas, toys, and beach wagon. The property does need to be landscaped. It had a lot of weeds growing around the pool area, but again it didn’t ruin our fun in the pool. Overall we had a great time but the property could use a little attention to make it more accommodating.

Wonderful stay

We had a group of 4 adults and 3 teens and both the home and location was perfect. Plenty of room for everyone with room to spare. Jia was a fantastic host and was easy to communicate with. She was always available to answer my questions before and during the trip. There were a few minor inconveniences (not the fault of the host), and she was quick to rectify them. The pool was a bit smaller than we thought from the pictures but it ended up working out wonderfully. We were able to use the wagons, beach chairs, umbrellas and cooler for beach days. The beach access is very close and just a few minute walk. The neighborhood is so quiet. Close enough to town for activities but far enough out that you aren’t bothered by the action. Would recommend 10/10 and we would definitely stay again.

Great Beach stay for groups or families

We had 3 (15 people) families stay from 7/25-729 and had the best time. Having 4 full bathrooms was can’t for getting showered and dress quick without having to wait for a bathroom. The kitchen had all the equipment needed for cooking at home. The beach walk was great even hauling a bunch of stuff and having younger children with us. We would definitely stay here again and recommend friends.

We really enjoyed our stay at Modern Pearl! One of the most enjoyable things was the location to the beach and all sorts of great restaurants. Jia was beyond helpful! She was highly responsive to any concerns that we had. If we return to Gulf Shores, we will definitely stay at Modern Pearl again!

First Family Vacation

Jia was an amazing host, very accommodating, and responsive! The location was just as described online. It couldn’t have been any closer to the beach (2 block walk) yet away from the hustle and bustle to give you privacy. The pool added an extra addition for those who didn’t want to go to the beach. The rental was equipped with all the necessary amenities. I would definitely stay here again, as a matter of fact, have already recommended to other people!

Wonderful location

We enjoyed our stay! We enjoyed the pool so much especially with crazy heat with our little ones. It was a very short walk or pull in the wagon to the beach. The rooms were very big and beds comfy. Limited kitchen bowls and pans. Very close to town for the grocery stores or restaurants. The home owner was quick to responds to our concerns.

Beach getaway

This was our first time to Gulf Shores. We rented the house for 3 adults and 4 kids (ages 8-10). Location is convenient to everything yet in a quiet area of Gulf Shores. Beach access is close, easily accessible and away from the hustle and bustle and high traffic areas. Jia is an awesome host. VERY prompt in responding to questions before our visit and during our stay. We would stay at Modern Pearl for our next beach getaway!

Wonderful house and location

Beautiful house with everything you need for the pool or beach. Pool toys, sand toys, beach chairs, beach umbrella and cart. Would definitely stay here again with the spacious rooms and short walk to beach.

Modern Pearl was a beautifully decorated new home. Location was a short walk from beach. Can not see the ocean but a very small area from a distance. Pool was used all the time due to seeing a shark. Close to restaurants and activities.

Great Location, New House

Overall our trip was everything we expected. The house is very close to the beach (we walked down several times a day), and does have a few beach essentials which came in handy. The pool was clean, but very small. Our entire group could not fit at the same time, but only a smalll downside. The inside of the house is beautiful, the layout was perfect, and for the most part it was very clean. I would suggest new linens, or a new laundering process, as they were covered in fuzz and didnt "look" 100% clean. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice Getaway

We found the home as pictured with all of the amenities we needed. Communication with Jia was easy. We were a party of 3 so we only used 2 of the 4 bedrooms but the 2 king beds we used were comfortable. We loved the balconies and the seating on the balconies as well as the lounge chairs by the pool. We enjoyed our stay and if we find ourselves in Gulf Shores in the future we would definitely consider staying here again!

We had a great trip at the modern pearl. The communication with the property manager was very easy and quick to respond. The place was in a convenient location with just minutes walk to the beach. We gave it four stars because it was clean but not thoroughly clean. It seemed as if the cleaning service does a quick clean. We had 8 adults and 7 kids stay, all under the age of 10 years. This property didn't have any items for kids. No high chair, baby gates, no games, not alot of beach toys or equipment, and no pool toys.

Perfect House for Us!

We’d never been to Gulf Shores so didn’t understand the area, how best to get around, where you could walk, where you have to drive, etc and this house worked great for us (5 teens, 2 adults). Super easy walk to beach and to fishing areas. Quick drive to food/supplies and easy drive to lots of fun stuff (whale watching, mini-golf, go-carts, etc). The house is really nice, comfortable, and the decks are enjoyable. Kitchen has minimal supplies but enough to get by for basic meals. Not one issue during the stay and beforehand the owner was super nice and communicative. Would def rent same house if visiting GS again!
