My wife and I booked Deanna's place for the weekend, wanting a quiet base for a murder mystery dinner theater, TopGolf, a nice Saturday night dinner, and Mass Sunday. The location was much quieter than I had prepared for, never having been to Gulf Shores, but knowing the typical crowd beach destinations typically get. We were able to hear the actual Gulf, instead of partying college kids.
The house, itself, was pretty much immaculate and the decor definitely gave off a very chill vibe. It had everything we needed for relaxing and catching up with another couple who joined us Saturday night. My wife is also totally on the hunt now for the living room rug, which was super soft and cozy.
TVs automatically log you out of your accounts after check-out so that's one less thing to think about. And the chore list is minimal. The bedding instructions literally say, "Leave the beds unmade. No need to strip them. You are on vacation!" Loading the dishwasher and taking out the trash (in the carport under the house) were all we needed to do. Parking under the house was super spacious.
As for the host, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better one than Deanna. I rarely need to communicate with hosts at rentals, but before arriving Friday, we had a medical emergency that put us arriving the next day, instead. Deanna was unbelievably thoughtful and generous, given our curcumstances, and she generally responded to communications within 2 minutes.
We'll most likely stay again.
