It was either unoccupied for a long time, or not cleaned properly before our stay. There was sand on the patio table and the place appeared to have not been vacuumed. It had a stale smell, which we realized after a day or so that there was a terrible leak under the bathroom vanity any time you used the faucet. This caused our things we had stored under the sink to become saturated, including my makeup bag. The outlet in the hall did not work. The Internet and cable were terrible and confusing-but luckily we weren’t there for those things. The condo lacked bedding for the pull out couch and a shower liner, which we requested to be delivered twice, and it never was. The leaky faucet was fixed promptly, though. We have stayed at GSSRC many times and love the location and easy beach access. This was certainly our least favorite room. All of these things are easy fixes and seem to be the lack of Brett Robinson managing their properties efficiently.

Oasis by the Beach

We have been staying at Gulf Shores Surf and Racquet for many summers and this was by far our favorite condo. It was white glove clean, including the hard to reach places most people ignore. The decor was adorable and the curved shower curtain rod was an added bonus. Towels and bedding were very crisp and soft. The balcony swing was our son’s favorite and he loved the large box of supplies including pickle ball paddles, which he put to good use.The only downside is that this property has an actual key which was a bit obnoxious to carry around. It also had to be returned by 11:00 and the office is not near where we were eating brunch, so we felt rushed. A keypad would be a welcome upgrade. I know, first world problems. Overall, this was a 10/10 property and we can’t wait to stay here again!
