This beachfront cottage is located about 12 miles from Gulf Shores and next door to the Bon Secour National Wildlife refuge. It's also one of the most private and well-equipped homes you can find in this area! You can enjoy the unparalleled serenity of being on the beach and yet be within minutes of the substantial amenities that have come to pass in the Gulf Shores and the Panhandle. Golf courses abound, water sports thrive, fishing is world-class (with charter boats readily available from local captains), and amusement and theme parks of a substantial nature are all available.



This dog-friendly home hosts a large, beachfront deck on the front of the cottage and is perfect for enjoying the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets! Work on your tan on one of the beach chairs and rocking chairs, catch up on that novel you brought along, or simply take a midday nap. Inside, this coastal gem offers an inviting living room with comfortable furniture, a flatscreen TV with cable with approximately 45 channels (and growing!), and carpeted floors. Let your friends chill and unwind while you put on the chef's apron and treat them to an unforgettable meal prepared in the fully-equipped kitchen. It's complete with all the essentials, including two coffee makers (standard and Keurig) and a dishwasher. The first level of the home hosts two well-equipped bedrooms and a shared full bath. Upstairs is a loft area with a nice and cozy sleeping nook.

We had a wonderful stay and are already planning our next visit! The beach house was very clean, comfortable, and had an absolutely beautiful beach view that we never got tired of. The Wi-Fi didn’t seem to work during our stay, but honestly, we didn’t mind—it gave us a chance to unplug and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Our only regret was not planning a longer vacation because it felt like we had just arrived when it was already time to leave. I definitely recommend making one big grocery run before you settle in since the drive into town is a bit far, but the quiet location is more than worth it. We loved seeing the local wildlife, and if you’re visiting during hurricane season, expect storms. One of our favorite memories was sitting outside during a power outage, watching the storm roll through over the beach. It turned into one of the most peaceful and unforgettable moments of our trip. We can’t wait to come back!

Property had a great location, but wasn’t very clean. There were clumps of hair and ants. The ceiling had water damage and some parts looked like it was about to collapse.The biggest complaint was the A/C or lack there of. It was sufficient during the night, but in the mid day sun, the house could not cool below 82 F. The blower unit in the bathroom also continually dripped onto the dryer. We had to empty a drip bowl of about a gallon a day. The property manager was nice in their responses, but nothing was fixed when we were there and we were told the A/C was performing correctly.
