The comfort, beauty, thoughtfulness, and appointments of this house could not be better. It appeared to have been updated just before we moved in, and it was done with taste and thought for guests. For example, the seating in the living room was not only beautiful, there was a lot of it and it was very comfortable. The living room was designed to accommodate large groups who want to be comfortable. In the kitchen area, there was lots of storage area for food, which is commonly overlooked in these beach rentals. There was also thought behind stocking the kitchen with everything needed for food prep and storage. The covered downstairs deck has lots of comfortable seating so that this is a very usable space as well. The outdoor shower is the nicest we've experienced. As a bonus, there was a sun sail available for cover on the beach. There were even amenities for our pup (e.g., bed, leash, water & food bowls). It was clear the home-owners put significant thought into guest needs. We had only one issue , but it was significant to us; for others, it will not be. We rented a house, rather than a condo, to have a large private space with easy access to a private beach. This home is located across the street from condos. The east lot next to the home is empty of a house; it has a boardwalk with shower hoses and picnic tables for what seemed to be public access. So, we shared the beach in front of our home with dozens of others, some of whom came very early to set up before we could get to the beach, left their things, and came back later in the day. There were men who set up multiple fishing rods across our beach so that the lines with hooks spread across our water. One day, a truck parked behind our cars to drop off people and beach equipment; so we had to wait before we could leave home. We called the rental company to ask if the beach in front of the home was private. They said it was but we would have to ask people to move ourselves. So, we had a sign printed that politely said the area in front of homes is private and asked visitors to use other spaces. We nailed it to an existing sign post by the boardwalk. It was torn down within a few hours of sun-up. We're accustomed to sharing the beach when we rent a condo, and by those standards, this was not bad. However, as we were paying for a private beach this time, this was bothersome. So, whether this is an issue depends on what you like and what you're expecting with this rental.
