Our family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hangout Deck. There was more than enough space for us to be comfortable both inside and out. The bedroom setups were perfect, beds were comfortable. Proximity to the beach was excellent. Tanya was great to work with and quick to respond when we had questions. We will definitely be returning next year!

My wife and I booked The Hangout Deck for the experience in Gulf Shores with our two adult children and a boyfriend...The house was clean, well maintained, and very bright. Lots of family time was had using the kitchen, decks, and entertainment areas. Truly a 5 minute walk to the white sandy beaches and very close to several popular delicious restaurants. We happened to schedule our vacation during the 2025 Shrimp Fest so we had so many more things to do and see. Also within walking proximity. We Highly recommend this place to maximize your beach time. -The Cordova's

Short getaway

The house was very clean. The games were a huge hit for the kids. Very close to everywhere we wanted to go. It had all the beach essentials ( chairs, unbrella,wagon) and was a very easy walk to the beach. Definitely recommend this home for families

Spring Break Gulf Shores

Place was as described, nice and very close to the beach. Communication was the best part, pre trip- i recieve a link to a website for the home/area that listed everything from check in procedures to recommendations for food and activities. I referenced that guide until we left.

Grateful Graduates

Our stay was wonderful! The location was perfect to the beach and allowed for adequate spacing. My son and friends recently graduated and wanted a trip to the beach but with their own privacy. The Hangout Deck was just that! The first floor was all theirs with everyone having their own bed and three rooms were enough along with a living area and deck space. I think the deck space was the coolest for them. This allowed my husband and I to have the 2nd floor in peace with the kitchen, another living area, and yes…another deck! I also loved that Tanya was very responsive and checked in to ensure we were comfortable. We will definitely book again!

Love the Hangout House!

Fun stay

Had a great time staying here. The place was clean, we had plenty of towels. There wasn't anything to hand wash dishes with and no hand soap but we bought some for the house. Other than that it was a great stay, easy short walk to the beach. Would stay here again

Perfect for families

Amazing beach home in the heart of Gulf Shores. Our kids loved the air hockey table and backyard space. It was a less than 5 min walk to the beach but on the second day our kids just hung out in the backyard because the house had its own private sand area.

What a spot!!

Alex and Tanya were amazing hosts. The beach house is within a few steps of our family's favorite beach. We could tell, as soon as you walk in that they put a lot of time and effort updating their beach house with our family's vacation experience in mind. We could tell this isn't like a vacation home managed by a property manager. Truly a top of their class vacation home. Thank you!

Great stay at Gulf Shores

Great location, 3 minute walk to the beach and close to the main area in Gulf Shores. We could probably walk to the Hangout if we needed to, it’s the slow season right now so no need to do that. We’ve been to Gulf Shores in the summertime and can’t find parking anywhere, this house is close enough to walk. House was clean and had an awesome layout, so much spacious than all the other condos or beach homes we’ve stayed in. Kids loved the Air Hockey Table and Simpsons Arcade. Tanya was a great host and we can’t wait to come back and make this a tradition.
