Great location and great views. Not clean. Dog hair on floors under bed, under couches and in corners of room. This should be deep cleaned after every departure. Older floors. Many soft spots and cracks.

the truth.. and nothing but the truth

first : nothing in these items would prevent me from renting the property again, if so inclined. single biggest plus : shaded deck with high chairs and table AND....house sits in front of houses on each side, providing a sense of privacy. no closets, suggest more hooks. well thought out, simple design, functional. no under house parking, but gravel driveway permits turning and protection from getting stuck in sand. use a sun shield in car. internet went out several times ( as mentioned in house info. ) very irritating at the moment, but comes back after a period of time. i would think the tax base in baldwin county would allow for the neccesary infrastructure to make the whole area as good as silicon valley re: connectivity. all appliances functioned normally. hvac perfect. we have been renting in the area ( gulf shores, ft. morgan ) for the last 40 years.....yes, we are old ! this house checks all the important blocks. again, the deck with shade and sun are paramount. nice job on that ! very enjoyable.

Amazing Stay

We had such a great time. The house was perfect for what we were looking for. Incredible view and only a few steps from the water. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The host had great communication and even had a hose replaced the same day we mentioned the one there was leaking. We hope to back again next year!

Perfect Relaxing Retreat

We really enjoyed our stay at the beach shack. The location on the beach was perfect for a quiet, relaxing vacation. The house had everything we needed. Check in was a breeze. We had no issues the whole trip. If you do want to goto Gulf Shores the drive is super simple, but takes about 20ish min. We spent most of our time on the porch watching the ocean and the birds. Staying in November is nice because there are so few people. We barely saw anyone on the beach. The weather was still warm ebough to enjoy our time outdoors. I would recommend to others wanting to stay in a house on the beach.

Great location

Location on the beach was perfect. Away from the crowds of orange beach. House was nice. Bedrooms are small, not much room for luggage. But living/kitchen area was very spacious and updated. We loved watching the dolphins in the ocean in the mornings from our porch. Great location. Would stay here again.

Great spot and beach access

Had a great experience. My only negative is that upon check in the placed smelled a bit like animals. Went to store and purchased glade plug in and candles and neutralizer spray and that took care of it. Everything met expectations and we had a wonderful time and would stay there again.

Great location!

The house was perfectly located on the beach. We spent most of our time on the patio enjoying the view. The beach was quiet, family friendly and dog friendly. We can’t wait to stay there again!

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The location right on the beach was wonderful. So, of course, the views were amazing whether inside the house or sitting out in the covered deck. We loved it, just the thing we were looking for…a beautiful beach getaway.

Great Place!

Exactly what we needed and as described. Cannot beat the proximity to beach and water, having the covered porch to sit on and hang out with the dogs was fantastic. Furnishings and kitchen all very clean and convenient. Beds were very comfortable. It was perfect for 2 couples. Main bathroom is a tad small but having the sliding glass doors open to the gulf offsets that. Overall great experience on fort morgan and we would stay here again.

Best location!

The location right on the beach was amazing. We saw dolphins from the front porch every single day. The white sand beach was beautiful, the seashell collecting was top-notch, and the neighborhood was peaceful. The house was exactly as advertised. It was a great layout for two couples and three kids, plus two dogs. The only drawback of the vacation was the amount of jellyfish, but of course that is not the property management's fault. 10/10 would stay here again, even with a 12 hour drive from Texas! Perfect place to unwind and reconnect with old friends.

Family Beach Trip

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property. The location and size was perfect and overall the experience was positive. The home had everything that is stated in the listing. The check in and check out process was easy, too. There was evidence of pet hair on the furniture and master bed linens which we didn't like, but the listing does state the property is pet friendly. If you want a quiet, laid back space for your family to spend quality beach time, this is your place!

Amazing beach house

House was outstanding inside and out. We instantly felt at home inside. We loved the view of the gulf. The beach was perfect and just steps away. We spent hours on the deck enjoying the sound of the ocean. We would love to come back.
