I stay here in February , very good boutique hotel not in the center but they have free shuttle to Chaweng beach where you can find the longest beach of Samui. Will be back next time for sure if i come back to Koh samui

The location close to Chaweng, Supermaket (Tesco Lotus) cheaper price. Can to go everywhere. New Manager helpful everything. Friendly staff. Next time I will come back here. Thank you for front manager

This is our last night here and I do not recommend staying here .On the website it states there's an indoor pool ,an English speaking receptionist and that you're able to book transfers. This was all a lie ,there is no pool ,they do not speak English and you can't book transfers. The location is awful and very far out from anything ,they do provide a shuttle but only when they can be bothered ,so you end up paying taxis to go anywhere .The rooms are a good size but the beds are like sleeping on concrete. The website is very misleading about this hotel so feel it's only fair to make others aware .

Me and my boyfriend have stayed here twice now. The first time, I had a real enjoyable stay. The hotel itself is very clean, aswell as the rooms. The rooms inside are lovely. Spacious, air con, good wifi & Hot showers. Everything you pretty much need. However, I found the beds extremely hard to sleep on, but everyone has a different preference. The second time I stayed, again all the main requirements were met up until we checked out. We never received our deposit back because the receptionist said we had signed a receipt yet none of us were given a copy & it didn't match any of our signatures so unfortunately we lost our £20 deposit (in our case £60 because there was 6). Just be aware of any receipts they give you KEEP HOLD and double check its YOUR signature so you do not have they same problem as we did.

The hotel is honestly the most overprice place we have ever stayed in. The "hotel" is a 250-300 baht taxi ride away from the beach, but don't book at reception because they tell you it is more (we were charged 400) and then obviously keep a little for themselves. This is on top of how rude they are as well as their lack of English and poor communication. The room itself was average at best, the bathroom was dirty when we arrived and the bed was SO hard and uncomfortable. We went to ask reception for a duvet to put on top and their answer was just a straight "no". They also advertise a pool and spa facilities that are not available. When we checked out we found a number of other people looking for new accommodation on the island. We moved to beach for half the price we payed for Wimaan Buri. Honestly the worst stay I have had in Asia!

You get what you pay for.. Reception hardly speaks English and we needed an translator to help us. Rooms are dated and plumbing has issues. However, maintenance was quick to respond. As he couldn't fix the toilet immediately, he gave us keys to a nearby empty room to use the toilet whenever we need to. And by the way, the beds are really hard!

I stayed last summer for 3 weeks Staff was very kind and always care to satisfy everythings Good restaurant not expensive Great Service Also shuttle for Ferry Very good hotel Rent a new motorbyke inside Close to Chaweng but not noisy Room was ok and cleaned every day with changes every morning bath Shower always hot

We stayed here for 11 nights in Dec 2013 and booked 1 room for 3 adults sharing with one single bed each. We received confirmation from the agent of this. Upon arrival we were only given 2 singles beds (which were rock hard) between 3 friends and were told there was nothing that could be done, however, we were offered 1 extra pillow by staff! We complained each morning to hotel staff that one of the party had to sleep on the floor, this was much to their amusement and they at no point offered us an alternative, however, told the agent that we booked it through that they did offer us an extra room. Room decor was ok, however, the shower took approx 10 mins to heat up hot water each time used. For the first half of the stay going for breakfast involved a 10 min car journey into the centre of Koh Samui as restaurant was being refurbished, however, hotel provided this at no extra cost. Also there is no proper swimming pool here, just a very small indoor paddling pool which is tiny and too small to use. Could not review the on site spa as it was closed for the duration of our stay. The location of the hotel is far from the beach also. On the whole I would not stay here ever again or recommend this to anyone, I have stayed in budget hotels and hostels across Asia for a fraction of the price of the Wimaan Buri and they have been far far better than this hotel!

If you need a place to land while looking for long term residency, at an affordable rate, then Wimaan Buri serves the purpose. It is not the place to go to spend your holiday as it's not located near the sea or does it have a serviceable pool. I stayed there while looking for a long term rental, so I was okay with it. The rooms: Decent size, clean and somewhat rustic in design. The bathroom...well it smells horrible as the vent pipe for every bathroom is located next to the shower. I've experienced this strange way of plumbing in Thailand many times so it's not unique to Wimaan Buri. Location: 10 min from beach (by motorbike) close to Tesco and other basic necessities. How could they improve? Put in a decent pool (the one they have is for children and undercover) and fix the smelly bathroom. Staff was pretty nice and helpful so few adjustments needed there. Would I go again? Only in a pinch!

We did not stay here by choice, but rather, due to rooms being overbooked at Joy Residence, we were moved here. My partner and I wore slippers throughout our time in the room. Just didn't felt it was clean. Thank goodness we were only staying for a night. The toilet is old, rusty and dirty. I'm really doubtful this is a new hotel. Another boo point: We were on time for the resort's free shuttle ride to Chaweng. But waited for 45 minutes before the pick up came. Just an observation: The staff seemed to always be working with grumpy faces which comes to me as a surprise as Samui is a touristy island. We heard from locals that this resort is owned by one of the shots in the police force, so they have police force trainings/seminars there pretty often. So I guess it is relatively safe? But I would not choose here any time again though.
