Stay in the dorm for 3 nights, the conclusion is that you get what you pay for, it's a cheap dorm (175 THB / night) in a room with 40 capsules beds. The bad point are the toilets, showers (4 for 40 beds), internet that sometimes is really slow and my locker (# 11) was with mice stools inside. The good point is the location (in front of the beach) An advice: discover where you switch off the light or it will be on all night long.

Had a room resevered from the 2 - 9th July. Got there and checked in, the lady who showed us to our room suggested a ground floor room as my bag was so heavy I was relieved to be honest. Got to the room and it was like a dungeon. Only 1 very narrow glass door leaving in light it faced a wall that was about 2 foot away from the door. Could not and would not leave it open and it did not leave light into the room. I went to reception to ask for a room with some light 10 mins later to be told a flat No. I asked if I could check out early and get money back again a flat No. that was the extent of my interaction with any staff until the Thursday. We got back to our room to get our books to go to the beach but we could not find them anywhere. I went to reception and there they were in the communal book shelf I asked why they were taken and told don't know sorry. Nothing should have been removed from our room. I was very annoyed by this. Again that was the extent of any communication until we checked out which consisted of the receptionist counting out the deposit refund that was it. I would not recommend this place. The pool is across the road from the resort and from what I can gather belongs to a different hotel/hostel. Although use of the pool and loungers is free there which was great. I would not recommend this place. Bathroom was extremely basic and smelled. Fridge and safe were great. Will not be returning

We stayed in a private room with en suite- can't fault it at all, basic but clean, good size bed, air con and fridge! It's right across from the beach- literally 2 steps to the beach bar which has its own section of the beach. There's a few bars along the beach but this was our favourite with a good happy hour and prime seats for the fire show!

We were looking for something cheaper and close to the beach. I thing this hotel was the best choice. Very nice people, rooms are clean, right on the beach. For young people perfect. I would come for sure again.

My partner and I stayed at Rich resort for four nights after coming from Bangkok and we upgraded to a private room with air con. The upgrade was a bit expensive compared to the private room with fan only, however it was worth it to have somewhere consistent to come back to and cool off in. The AC plus revolving fan above the bed was the best we've experienced in SE Asia. The room was quite large and had everything we needed, including a safe and mini fridge. The beach is directly across the street and we had many meals at the restaurant there. It is a bit pricey comparatively, but convenient and tasted pretty good. In order to use the pool/beach lounge chairs you need to purchase a drink (or food) from the restaurant staff. The evening fire show was also pretty cool. It's a 5 minute walk to the Main Street where there are more bars and restaurants. Only downside was you could hear all the noise from the hallway in our room. This was a mild discomfort and nothing to deter a visit to Rich Resort.

We stayed here with two of my friends for three nights in a triple room with a fan. The room was very big and clean and had a nice bathroom. The restaurant served a nice breakfast (many choices, 3 choices 109 bahts). Friendly staff. Close to many shops and restaurants. Small but a clean, nice pool with a view to the beach. Had good bikes for rent for 200bahts. Recommended!

Stayed here one night in the off season. For a capsule hostel at this price no complaints. Bedsheets a bit stained and some noise from the huge bar downstairs. Otherwise bathrooms and showers regularly cleaned. Bed is comfortable with night light and outlet. Wifi in the room. Good aircon (for most of the room) and fans. Resort is on the beach. Good for backpackers especially if you want to join the party.

Nice capsule concept hostel, different experience, perfect location with beach 2 mins of walk, awesome restaurant downstairs, hostel pricing perfect for Solo travellers. Can improve their toilet and bathroom cleaning efficiency. Otherwise would have given 5 star.

Loved our stay here, Your right on the beach and are in walking distance from the shops, restaurants and bars. The staff here are lovely and they have a great happy hour on from 6-8pm. Only issue we have is that you can't take your own drinks to the beach beds or by the pool. So you have to pay 30bat for water when it's 11bat in the shop. We stayed in the 40 bed dorm and this was great you have your own socket, light and privacy. Only issue is the noisy people who stay here but that's no fault of the hotel. The music is on loud most nights but I'm a heavy sleeper so I had no issue with this at night or at 9am in the morning. Definitely watch the fire show it's not one to miss!

I stayed in the dorm room at rich resort for a few nights last month. It was affordable, and the location awesome - you really can't argue with it. The dorm room is right on top on the restaurant too, so you only need to walk down the stairs for breakfast, which was a really fair price for what you get. One area this place falters is the the cleanliness. The bathrooms were pretty gross and some I noticed weren't cleaned everyday. Smelly too.
