We felt very well cared for and spoiled here. The Resort is wonderfully quiet and very relaxing. All staff are very polite, friendly and accommodating. In particular, Naomi from the front desk was always been very helpful and gave very good advices. We can recommend the Pinnacle Resort with a clear conscience.
We booked the "resort" for six nights. The bungalow was ok but the bathroom was really terrible. The beach was ok and the sun lounger could really need a new cuahion. The wifi was breaking up all the time. The breakfast was ok and the staff was everything but friendly...
We booked 4 nights in advance and left after three, due to a bad service. To make a long story short- we got a baby crib for our 5 months old baby without a mattress (!), and needed to explain why a mattress is a must. I wrote a review with details about exactly what happened, and got a response from the manager taking advantage of the fact that reviewers can't answer back. To prevent this from happening again I'll only say that it's not the place you wanna deal with or test their service. Blaming the customer for their bad service is one way to manage customer service. I hope they choose a different way next time they face a customer issue (or answer this review). Finally, I'll just say that this is our first and only 1 star review. And we add TripAdvisor review to each hotel we stay in.
We stayed at the Pinnacle Resort for 4 nights in August. We are a couple with two children aged 6 and 2 years old. We have nothing but good things to say about this place :) As you walk past the front desk and walk into a wonderful garden path, a sign states: "stress-free zone". That is the most accurate statement possible about this place. First and most important is the wonderful staff who were always helpul and smiling, giving lots of attention to the kids whenever they had a moment (they always had time for that). The room - we took the superior bungalow A and it was just lovely. Spacious enough for all the 4 of us, the bed was big & comfortable, the bathroom was big and well equipped, nice & spacious veranda. The whole complex is beautiful, a lot of green leaves, trees and flowers (a magical garden feeling), very clean and well taken care of. The pool is lovely, there is a separated pool area for small children who cannot swim, shallow enough to let them walk in the water and be independent (while sitting next to them in the water, but no need to hold them constantly). Restaurant - very tasty food, not expensive (especially considering it's a resort restaurunt). The breakfast buffet was great and diverse. The staff very kind and helpful. We had a lovely time and would be happy to come back again.
Hi, We stayed at the hotel for 11 nights. We r 2 Adults and 2 babies (2 year and 1 year). Got a bungalow next to the pool and beach. We got 1 baby crib and 1 middle bed for our 2 year. The hotel is perfect for kids and babies the pool is big but not too big( they have baby pool) The Breakfast very good The room is well clean and have refrigerator, coffee and tea. Have balcon for the evening. The garden is beautiful and well managed. We will come beck. For the hotel : got to upgrade the beth shower. One more thing: thank you neomi at the desk you were amazing!!!! 10x
Me and my husband booked room in Pinnacle for 2 nights and end up staying 2 more. It was a really nice stay, breakfast was excellent, workers were kind, rooms clean and comfy. Just outside the hotel is lady who rents a motorbike, so you can explore an island on your own or book a trip with her. We recommend it!
Stayed in bungalows, clean spacious bungalows great air cond, great breakfast, pool is cool and clean, plenty sun lounges, plenty restaurants walking distance, scooter hire across road, loved our stay, only negative, no fresh fruit for shakes and real missed opportunity for resraurant, pool side snacks so expensive for 5 tiny Spring rolls for 120baht is hilarious, and we also ordered French fries which burnt and cooked in old oil. Also beer was warm, they should be kept in ice in esky if they are cold people woukd order more just a thought.
I just stayed at the Pinnacle Resort for a Night and booked it because it is close to the Lomprayah Ferry i intended to take at the earliest convenience the next morning. I ended up staying half a day longer, because I really felt comfortable there. First, I really liked how well they are organized: My luggage got brought to the room and I could book an extra breakfast with no inconvenience (it was good). The room was well equipped (extra shower accessories, Q-Tips, a Razor enough towels) and really clean. Since there are a lot of power outs, they are equiped with oil lamps and torches (that is amazing, you would think this is an obvious thing to do, but it really isn't as far as I can say) I enjoyed the small local bar you can find when you walk to the beach (the hotel has beach access) and turn left and walk 5' on the sand. (Greatest TomKaGai I have ever had and great drinks too) I guess I liked the least, that 95 of the people there were from Germany. I was kinda surprised that everybody greeted me in german, but as I took a glimpse on the guest list I could see, that exept of one couple everybody actually was from germany. I always look forward to meet new people from different destinations so this was a downer for me, even though it doesn't say anything about the hotel except, that the service and the cleanliness is good enough for the high german standards. I would definitely recommend this place, although I think it could be boring to stay there a whole week.
I have to say that the resort is beautiful with the pool, spa massage, and restaurant looking out on the ocean. The complimentary breakfast is very good with a lot of selection. If you are looking for a nice quite resort to unwind then pinnacle is it, but a lot of the things in the room are outdated. Also, the air conditioning took awhile to kick in and get somewhat cool in our room. They do have a hotel van that can take you where you want to go for about 300 Baht and up depending on location. What we were most upset with was the way we were treated by some of the staff. We were accused and charged for braking a glass bottle of water and making a long distance phone call that we couldn't even make from our room. I would advise people to do some more research and you might be able to find the same kind of hotel in Ko Samui for a comparable price with a more updated room.
Beautiful place for quite holiday with no crowds. Very nice bungalows, great staff (especially Naomi and awesome people in restaurant during breakfast), clean beach and beautiful maintained garden. BEST SPENT TIME in Thailand!
