The Pavilion Samui Villas hotel is very Convenient location in Lamai. Staff there were very helpful and service was great. They had be kind and helped me on my request. Booked the deluxe pool room with balcony for 7 nights and it was really nice and comfortable big bed. It's good value for the price booked and the hotel was nice with great pool and close to the beach. Breakfast was great with many choices and loved the pavilion spa. It was very relaxing especially the pavilion signature massage and loved the coconut scrub was great. They offer happy hour buy one get one free massage which is great value. Will definitely return when I visit samui again and worth booking this hotel.
I stayed in a balcony room which was an excellent size and value for the price (the outdoor jacuzzi was my favorite feature). Fantastic location for visitors staying at Lamai; the resort is on the beach and restaurants/markets/dept store are all within walking distance. Minor issue: wifi is slow and somewhat unstable in the room (but good in the restaurant) for those who MUST stay connected. Also, bring your own razor, it isn't included in the amenities.
We stayed there for 5 nights, with our 5 months old baby and a couple of friends and their baby, at the end our a 4 weeks trip. The location is great- quite but very close to everything important in lamai. The stuff are very nice and helpful (they were soooo nice with our babies and always helped us with our strollers). Keep in mind that there are too many stairs from the road to the lobby/rooms, and from them to the beach/pool, but if you don't have a stroller- this is definitely a perfect hotel for you. To pool is large enough, with many beds. Many beds on the beach as well.
We checked in yesterday and we absolutely amazed at how beautiful and well maintained this resort is. From the moment we were greeted by the staff we felt like royalty! The resort is positioned right on the beach and also in a prime location to all the shops, restaurants and attractions. We did have a problem with our air conditioner which was a bit of a concern but after reporting it to reception they immediately transferred us to another room. As it was 10pm at night they were very sympathetic and as a good will gesture they have upgraded us to a private pool villa, no questions asked. This sort of service is what makes you want to keep coming back and without a doubt I would recommend this hotel to everyone that wants to experience the best that Ko Samui has to offer. Very quiet, kid friendly and more of a couples and family environment than a party hotel! Thanks to all the staff for looking after me and my family whilst on our holiday.
Very nice hotel, great rooms. Staff is very friendly, and quite at night. Good place to bring children as well. Breakfast is great, have something for all. Everything is clean, and looks either new or well kept.
The room is very clean with excellent service from hotel staffs. I came here for a business trip and have 1 free day on Sunday. Almost everything in Lamai beach is right under your nose. You can enjoy the sun and the sea at the beach. There are paddle boards, boat and jetski for rent nearby. Only couple minutes walk to the left is where night life is. Less than 1 minute walk to the right is Sunday night market with variety kinds of food and souvenir. Food and things in Samui are cheaper than in in Phuket, even for me - a Thai tourist who has been here for the first time. Enjoy!!!
Stunningly beautiful and clean with outstanding people who work at this property. We were early arriving (10am), standard check in 2 pm, one of three rooms was available immediately, we were invited to check out the property, we waited at the Pool Bar for the other 2 rooms to be ready. We were so pleased this property was chosen for our 5 night stay, it is stunning, peaceful and extremely clean, with immaculate gardens, and such professional people; some have been there for over 15 years. We were greeted everyday by staff immediately we made eye contact. Our party consisted of 3 couples and a 15 year old, each of our villa’s had it’s own hydro pool. Villa's H 315, H310 and H308. The villa’s had shampoo, conditioner and body wash filled daily in our shower, a safety deposit box in the wardrobe, daily pool and bath towels, tea & coffee making facilities, complimentary daily bottled water. Air conditioning and ceiling fan. Breakfast was included in our rate, I cannot imagine anyone ever going hungry, everyone is catered for, from fruit and cereal to almost anything you wanted cooked as well as cheeses, cold meat and Danish pastries. Lunch was just as good, European & Thai available, beautifully cooked and presented. Dinner, some evenings were themed but a la cart is also available, once again beautifully cooked & presented. People who really need mentioning that made our holiday really memorable. Mr Thada is Pavilions Restaurant Manager, his quiet professional manner makes him an outstanding host, we would meet near the pool bar and he would come and collect us for lunch and dinner, if we couldn’t decide he would help with trying something new from the Thai menu. Mr Boon Rum is the deputy Restaurant Manager, we hope he enjoyed our constant banter and jokes with him, nothing at all was ever a difficulty. Mr Chayaphol (Ken) Hatsawat is the Room Division Manager, he often checked to make sure all was well with our stay and if there was anything else we needed. One Villa’s air conditioning was not working well, they spoke about it and it was sorted immediately. The Spa. Most of us experienced a massage of choice, oh my goodness you have to take advantage just wonderful, they even called staff back in on their day off because more of us wanted the same time, that is just amazing. There is NOTHING you can complain about this property or the people and we all agree it is 5 star for everything. IGNORE ANY BAD REVIEWS it is just stunningly beautiful with outstanding people. we stayed for 5 nights at the end of august 17. Initially we felt disappointed walking in because the place wasnt as well kept/presented and needs to be maintained a little better. There is also a strong smell throughout. We did like our 2 bedroom room with our pool, the service was great and we enjoyed our food. We were happy with our stay overall.
I stayed at at The Pavilion from August the 10th until August the 14th. It was also the venue for my wedding day! We stayed in one of their Hydro Pool Villa's, which was way beyond anything I could have expected. The pool was large, and the room interiors are very spacious. They include a large TV, minibar, shower and bathtub, as well as a great king size double bed. The wedding itself couldn't have been any more perfect. Everything had been arranged by Jang, who was an absolute superstar. Jang and her team did an amazing job, especially considering that me and my wife are not the best at giving direction and planning! It was absolutely beautiful and all of our guests commented on how amazing the whole setup looked. The wedding was held on the beach and reception in the restaurant. The food for the wedding was also far beyond anything I could have expected - a full international buffet, which included a huge variety of dishes, some of which could be cooked while you wait (steak, pasta, fish). The photographer was also fantastic, and we've received over 500 wedding photos! I must say I am really surprised to read other reviews that say the resort is looking tired. It didn't look at all tired to me. I've lived in Thailand for 5 years and have stayed in Samui for a combined total of around 8 months during that time. I can safely say, the resort does NOT look tired. It's in great condition. Although, I did stay in the hydro pool villa, so I can't comment on other rooms / villas. All the staff were friendly and courteous. Rooms were cleaned to a good standard every day. The restaurant is very good, but of course you can find other places to eat that are going to be cheaper. As for the price - yes, it's fairly expensive. But if you have the money, then I highly recommend The Pavilion. Especially a room with private pool. Would I stay again? Absolutely. Again, special thanks to Jang and Alfredo! You made our day very special and we'll always be grateful for your help.
This was the last hotel we stayed in our Thailand 3 weeks trip and it was a disappointment. The facility is tired and not very well maintained, the swimming pool can not hold the many guests ( hotel is very crowded) at this crowded hotel so if you want a seat not to mention a bed you better come in and reserve on at sunrise or you will not have one. The staff is friendly and rooms are nice but again it was the only hotel out of 5 we stayed in that had only basic amenities in room ( no body lotion , no dental care). The hotel is well centered though with a great beach close to many restaurants and shops of all kind. For our humble opinion and when you conclude it all you don't get what you pay for !
