Cockroaches were crawling on the serving spoons for breakfast. There were mosquitos in the room. The shower didn't drain so by the end it was like standing in a pool. There is loud construction outside from 9am-5pm which makes naps impossible. After that, it's so close to nightlife/clubs/the main road that you hear thumping music all night. The hotel restaurant had rotten meat in the curry I ordered. I tried to eat there 3 times before I saw the cockroach and it was terrible every time. These things would be forgivable if I were paying around $10 like some other places in Thailand... but for the price, I was extremely disappointed and upset. You could get more from a place close by for a fraction of the price. ALSO- they wanted to charge almost 200 baht more for a taxi and ferry combo ticket than the business down the street so be aware of that.
