We had a Garden Villa which was set in the peaceful grounds of this hotel, the villa was well maintained and clean with a good sized bedroom and bathroom. The staff were really pleasant and helpful especially Rae who worked in the restaurant. She made us very welcome and helped make our stay here special. The pool area is very clean and relaxing, again the staff were brilliant here. The grounds are beautiful and well looked after, they are full of allsorts of wildlife. There is a viewing area right at the top of the hotel that is well worth the climb. There is a shuttle service to Chaweng and The Fishermen's Village but it really doesn't run often enough but it is a peasant walk to and from the Fishermen's Village. I would recommend this hotel strongly for a relaxing holiday.
We spent 12 nights in at this fabulous resort on a bed and breakfast. Stayed in room in a 235 perfect location next to the pool and restaurant and a stones throw from the beach. The villas are well furnished and very spacious, the only draw back was the lack of storage place for clothes so be prepared to live out of a suitcase. There is ample room for a decent sized chest of drawers and more hangers in the wardrobe would be good. The bathrooms were huge with walk in shower and a massive bath. Pool towels are provided and there is a safe in the room free of charge. The fridge came in very useful for cold drinks. The staff were all very friendly and efficient and couldn’t do enough for you. The breakfast choice was absolutely brilliant. It was lovely to eat in the restaurant overlooking the sea. The pool area was clean and well maintained and sun loungers were always available. A short walk along the beach is a bar/restaurant called the Tree House, excellent for and drinks and a great place to watch the sunset over Maenam. We had a fantastic time and would gladly recommend the Fair House Villas to anyone

Me and Husband chosen this wonderful place to stay for our honeymoon. We stayed for 4D3N. From the day of our arrival (at the airport) till the day we left this beautiful island, PERFECT. We arrived at 10am and come to our surprise, our Ocean Suite room 123 is ready, Everything was so perfect. Managed to experience candle light private dinner under the beautiful sky. Although the weather forecast predicted that there will be a thunderstorm at night, it didnt happen..the sky was full with stars. Me and my husband are so HAPPY and SATISFIED with everything about the their service. Do order their tom yam gung as it is the BEST tomyam we have tasted in that island. We hope to come back and spend our anniversary there next year. thank you so much for making our honeymoon trip like a PARADISE. Keep up the good work!
Lovely hotel complex right on Mae nam beach great rooms we had private pool villa. Staff were extremely friendly courteous and always attentive to our needs. Great pool complex with swim up bar. Restaurant food was "aroi ". Fishermans village only a short shuttle trip from hotel.
Great place for a quiet break. We had a beach view villa which was just amazing. Free shuttle 3x day to fishermans and chewang for a busy time. Would stay here again. My first Thai massage by the pool was amazing and reasonable.
My wife and l visited fair house villas in late August. This place is heaven. With the full commitment of the lovely staff, from the breakfast crew (the wonderful Ben), to the amazing Jar who made this trip our most memorable experience ever. Our room was immaculate and perfectly clean...as were their grounds. The private pools were a highlight. The food presentation was sensational. We have already started saving for our next trip. Highly recommended. Gay and Terry Beschi villa 306
After 1,5 week tracking through Thaliand we arrived at Koh Samui where we stayed at the Fair House. This was the best resort of our holiday! The room was very spacious, clean and a bed where both can stretch without hanging out of the bed. The food was good and the staff was very friendly and helpfull. You can book many trips from the reception where the staff help you where they can. The massage is quite expensive.
hotel is located on the northern part of koh samui on mae nam beach, quite little spot to relax by the beach much quiter than bophut and chewang. spent 7 nights here and can not fault the staff they have been wonderful, breakfast staff even making a brownie and singing happy birthday to my father. the villas are amazing ranging from garden villa to beach front villas. 400 metres walk along the beach is silent treehouse , that serves up beautiful food, next to treehouse is the jamacia bar definitely worth a vist for a few drinks while enjoying the sunset. fishermans wharf is located 5 mins down the road by taxi worth a visit especially when night market is on. great hotel, great staff and great location, thank you fairhouse villa for a memorable holiday.
Most important: don't buy the silver, gold etc card which they want to sell to you at the beginning! This is clearly a rip off! Most probably you will not be able to consume all and then they keep the rest!! Never had such a experience before - esp because the manager did not explain to us before properly that e.g. Happy hour is not included. Now about the hotel: Nice location- (lots of Chinese, Russians and French ) Spacious rooms Very Friendly staff esp in the restaurant Great pool and nice beach We had a very big hilltop room with outside bathtub and great view- nice but quite worn out- needs some renovation. We had mosquitoes and plenty of ants in the bath- which is probably difficult to avoid..(however for me not clear why most of hotels don't have mosquito nets... the easiest and cheapest way to protect from those annoying animals- and looks also nice) Cleanliness was so so - I would say Asian style and acceptable Spa is very expensive, but at the beach- on both sides- you find plenty of alternatives. Food for dinner was good, but the nearby Treehouse had the nicer atmosphere. Also laundry is very expensive but there is a very friendly laundry 300m away for 40 baht a kilo. Such a pity that the end of our 10 day stay ended with such negative experience :-(
