Looking for a quiet escape from the busy roads of Ko Samui? Look no further! Not only is the reception terrible, but you may even have to go searching for someone to help you! How great is that?! Once we found someone, she was all too annoyed to show us to our room. But that's our fault. We were paying guests, and she was in the middle of ... ignoring us. Other highlights include but are not limited to: -Festering pool -No food being served by the kitchen -Giant bugs you can trap -Trickling water pressure. -Terrible beaches I could go on, but I don't want to spoil the experience for you! I have been home from Thailand for 2 weeks and I still have scars from this place, emotional...and physical. ... Memories.

I used to stay here a couple of years ago and was curious to find out if my little paradise survived the Koh Samui developers and their bulldozers. No worry, it is still there! Beach is still very calm and peaceful, hospitality remains great, rooms were clean and in reasonable condition. Rented a motorbike to go around. Highly recommended.

The location of Como is very nice, our bamboo bungalow was on the beach and had a little patio area. The bungalow was clean and comfortable but could use an update, especially the bathroom. The owner was friendly and welcoming. However, we had a little trouble when we asked her if she could call a taxi to drop us at the pier the following day. She said she would call and negotiate a price for us. The next day the 'taxi' turned out to be her friend who was on her way to drop her daughter off at school. We were charged 150 Baht which was quite expensive for such a short journey. We felt like the owner had been a bit dishonest with us. To summarise: nice location, rooms a bit dated, staff friendly but service could be improved.

clean rooms, not too bad a location. it could be great but it seems like they just don't care about breakfast (no coffee before 8.30)service, cleaning the tables, putting away their kids toys and giving vacationers a feeling of welcome. akward check-in, felt more like an intruder on personal patio than as a guest. place is under same management since 14 years and maybe they have lost their enthusiasm? same as the mattress lost it's comfort and grew some nasty lumps... i'm sure there are better options nearby.

Well, am totally blown away by this place! This hotel is everything you dream about when you imagine relaxing on a tropical island paradise. I look out my window, to a hammock slung between 2 palm trees, the ocean just over 10 feet away and beautiful Koh Pagnan in the distance. The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular, beach pristine and quiet PLUS, you can take out kayaks whenever you want free of charge. The food is amazing and super cheap and the staff are friendly and accomodating, but leave you alone to do your own thing and have your privacy. Also, if you want some action, Fisherman's Village and Chewang Beach are only 5 minutes by scooter, with loads of seafront bars/restaurants to check out. So, if you want a romantic getaway or to drop of the map and end up in tropical paradise without spending a fortune, definately check this place out. PLUS, it has a pool!!!!

During our time in Thailand we have come to the conclusion that no matter where you stay it's the staff/owners that make the difference. This is certainly the case here. The lady owner of Como Resort was so genuinely friendly and helpful the whole way through our stay. She let us choose which room we wanted showing us 4 different types. She gave us all kayaks (free of charge) to row out to a beautiful sand spit. The location here is stunning, right on the beach with hammocks galore. The owner even dropped one of our group to the restaurant we were eating at when she became lost from us at the night market. Rooms, while basic were spotlessly clean with no bugs and great a/c and fans. Will definitely stay here again.

At como resort now, this place is unreal...but only here for 1 nite:'-( , its so chilled out and staying in the wooden hut in the picture, allround room and the foof at the restaurant really well priced..

Nice small hotel close to the beach and with palm trees which gave shadow when it was to hot. Good service and excellent and tasty food, absolutely wonderful . The room was standard but cleaned in a proper way.

The rooms are a bit worm and would have good use of a renovation but clean and functioning. The price is if you ask me little high for the room standard. But, the location is really nice, the beach just outside your room. The food is good and price worthy. It is pretty calm atmosphere and no beach touts. For swimming the beach little further out is somewhat "muddy" but ok. My parents really liked this place, so they would probably score it 5, while I think the price is little high for the standard so I set the grade 4. But again, very nice cosy place. Some other reviews mentioned the locks, yes there is now an extra pad-lock installed.

My husband and I are spending six nights here after extending our stay in Koh Samui because of the protests in Bangkok. We stopped in on our way to look at a larger hotel, and were pleasantly surprised by this small, family-run place. We were lucky to get a bungalow right on the beach, and are really enjoying the central location on the pleasant north end of the island. The restaurant is good with tasty home cooked Thai dishes, although the breakfast is not amazing. The bungalows are basic but clean and with good AC, and budget price, free wifi, and fantastic beach location make this a good choice.
