Thought this was a four star place based on reviews. The place is in need of renovation. I Believe there are newer renovated rooms but they were all full. Our room had very old fixtures and run down bathroom. They were nice to show us another room after voicing our concerns but it was similar to the outdated one we were in. The staff were nice but service was average. On the other hand the breakfast buffet was very good and worth it. Good variety. Pool is in front of beach which is good but beach has a man made reef that blocks the water. Overall good location in central chaweng but otherwise the hotel doesn't over anything special. Chaweng beach is rather small so you may Be better off staying at a nicer chain hotel as the price would likely be the same and you could walk to wherever you want to go
