No need to go anywhere else. This is the best place ever and all the staff are amazing which is why we keep coming back. They are like family. Have never been treated like this in all the places we have ever been too, they are so welcoming. Yes there might be flashier places around but the atmosphere here makes up for it all. Would never go anywhere else. Buffet breakfasts are great, lots to choose from, restaurant, pool and beach at back door, rooms are a good size. Just keep doing what you are doing, you all are an amazing bunch. Great location as well.
Stayed here for 9 nights, first stay here ,we loved it ,the staff are fantastic especially Tan ,the rooms were very clean bathroom and shower were a good size, the pools and beach are the best ,so is the restaurant by the sea, happy hour everyday, breakfast were great staff look after you very well . Out the front you’re in the heart of all the shops, plenty of restaurants ,food markets are cheap we weren’t sick once, and a 5 min walk is Central Festival shopping centre and a big Food Court there as well ,we will be back .
Awesome service, really friendly and helpful, special thanks to Tan and Joke, Tan made hour days with her smile and kindness. The pool is good, the beach is clean, good live music at night, food is good. Definitely recommend this resort, as a matter of fact we will be back here next year. Thank you for everything
Hotel itself is 3.5 to 4* but the service is impeccable. We stayed for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed every moment here. Thank you to all the staff, especially Tan and Rit for keeping Isabella entertained. Would happily recommend anyone to stay here. Good priced drinks during happy hour!!
Everything you have heard about the incredible staff at this hotel is true...they raise the star rating of this hotel by 1.5 stars ,special mention to Tan.Kara...and Joke.Which obviously means the building and facilities are less than 5 star...but if you have booked do not dispair. The hotel itself is is a little tired around reception ,landings and stairs... rooms are colourful with a big bed,ok bathroom, TV and safe. Now the pool and beach area are much more pleasant with plenty of sunbeds and a few steps from the pool to the beach.... and only another 20/30 yards to the sea...happy hour 4_6pm makes things even better. We didn't eat in the hotel because there were so many options out...especially the street food about 250 yards turning right out of the hotel every afternoon. Do not be put off by the minor issues with reception area and stairs...how much time u gonna spend in those areas..and everything is just outside the front of the hotel as it is on the main street...go and enjoy...
The second time here as good, if not better than the last time. The staff treat you like one of the family. Surprised my wife on her birthday at breakfast. Special mention to Tan who goes one step beyond,But all the staff are brilliant and make you feel so welcome, would love to come back here for a new year celebration. In all had another fantastic time here,so thank you to all the staff at the Baan Samui Resort for there great hospitality.
My husband and i stayed at the Baan Samui Resort from the 7th to the 14th of September and were very happy with our accommodation. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the garden and central to everything we needed but far enough away from evening bands when we wanted to sleep. We found the hotel to be the perfect location. You could walk past the pool onto the beach for a swim or choose a banana lounge by the pool and order a meal or beverage. In the evening you could have dinner at the resort which was always lovely, walk down the beach to other beautiful resorts with restaurants, or go out the front of the Baan and wander along the street to a variety of places to eat. In the evening at the Baan Samui i was really suprised by effort that was put in to the dinning experience despite the fact that it was 'off peak' and not many people around. They still had a reggae style band playing and packed up the beach lounges at the end of every day to set up 'TeePee' style dining settings with coloured lights that were really lovely. The buffet breakfast is a worthy addition to your accomodation package, there is a great variety of fresh food every morning and they will make really nice omlettes with your choice of fillings while you wait The staff were lovely and nothing was ever too much trouble. We found the Thai people were very friendly and polite they did not harass you into buying things which we were very relieved about as we did not like that about Bali. Occasionally at Koh Samui we were stopped by someone but when we said 'no thankyou' they accepted our answer and we continued on. We did a bus tour called "City Tour" which was worthwhile and takes you to local temples, places of worship and a bit of sight seeing. We also did a Dolphin Cruise i cannot remember the name of which also took us snorkeling and gave us a lovely lunch. This time of year was fairly hot and a little humid but also quiet. We were told August is not quite as hot and also off peak so not too busy. We plan to return next year with our teenage boys and will most likely stay at the Baan Samui again.
My husband and I stayed at the Baan Samui for 16 days in August. Each time we ask ourselves can this place get any better; it is home away from home - our hideaway in paradise. The staff make this place so special; the friendliness of Suwannee, the welcome and kindness shown by the front desk staff, particularly Ake and Reena, and then of course there is the beautiful kind-hearted Tan who works so hard to make our holiday so special, also a thank you to Soe, Bee and Nutty - they were wonderful too. Thanks also must go to the housemaids who go about their cleaning duties with a smile. Normally we don't complain but found the music out the front area this year a bit too loud, it was hard to have a conservation as you could not hear others talking or even yourself. However this is minor but on the whole a relaxing and beautiful holiday for both of us. Thank you Baan Samui.
Stayed for 2 weeks and can not fault this hotel at all. On arrival our luggage was taken to our room whilst we checked in and given a cooling fruit drink and cold flannel then shown our room by a member of staff. This hotel is in great location for all shops bars and restuarants on main Chewang street at front and excellent beach area at rear. All staff members went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great but a couple of staff i feel need a mention. Firstly Soe for looking after us at breakfast and during the day, Bo Bo looking after us in the evenings and a big thank you to Tan who worked so hard all day long to make our stay a wonderful experiance. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again or recommend to friends and family
Stayed here a couple of times and absolutely love it. The lady tan who works there is the reason so. She makes everyone feel so comfortable and important! Amazing customer service from tan. Would recommend Baan Samui to anyone! And the beach is absolutely breathtaking.
