Quiet and comfortable
This was a nice quaint place outside of Yangshuo town. The staff are very kind and helpful, though they had trouble finding my reservation (must say that you booked through Expedia despite using Hotels.com) The shuttle cart goes in and out of town about 4 or 5 set times which while not the most convenient is very helpful and free! They even picked us up initially from the city for free after we arranged this from the tour guide. The restaurant serves good quality food. It is on the east, and thus too far for my elder mom to get to the recommended biking/hiking trail by the west side river so we did not end up going out there with bikes, but for stronger folks it'd be apparently a great half day trip. P.S. The bikes do have a reasonable rental fee, they're not free as another reviewer suggested. Scooters are also available for rent and I saw helmets also.
Would have liked if the room had a few more amenities- a fridge to store food from the city, an extra mirror outside of the bathroom. But it was very clean and comfortable. The view from our balcony was nice and there's a small trail very close by that will take you to the riverside.
The pool was a nice spot to cool off, it's small but well kept and there are other family friendly things to do around it- ping pong, mahjong, foosball.
All in all, I'm glad we stayed here as it seemed much too busy in Yangshuo town.
