A wonderful experience

The facility was interesting and enjoyable. We were surprised to have a “detached bathroom” which was dedicated to our room but located 50’ away from our room. The facility was spotless and the real highlights were the location, OUTSTANDING breakfast and most importantly the owners who were kind, gracious and truly made the stay wonderful.

Fabulous location but terrible service

The location is perfect but was spoilt by the unfriendly welcome and dirty shower curtain in the tiny bathroom. The hotel seemed to be run by a bunch of young people who were themselves on holiday. We felt as though we were disturbing them when we arrived, as they were having dinner on the hotel terrace, and the next morning at breakfast. Do young people not smile anymore? They certainly should not be working in the hotel and catering industry. The room was ok, quite clean, except for the bathroom which was poky and smelly. The washbasin was coming away from the wall. I recommend the hotel for its fabulous view over the sea, but certainly not for the service provided.

Great location - "Boring" breakfast

It was a very nice hotel room, small but functioning bathroom. Great location. But we were not very impressed by the breakfast. Breakfast was from 8-10am, we were there 8.20 and bread rolls and eggs were cold (eggs were hard to pill, indicating they were not very fresh), the cheese was completely without taste, the sweet pastry was also not very interesting. We would also have liked it to be organic, but none of it was.

GreT small inn by the sea

Worth paying a little extra for the view of the town/sea. An easy walk to town and cliff trails, We enjoyed talking with the owner who provided a friendly atmosphere and nice breakfast.

Cosy but not too fancy for an off-season get-away.

Shorter stay over off-season holiday. Great location in cute sea town. Close to pretty nature-walks along the coast. Got upgraded to newly renovated rooms overlooking the bay. Heating in room worked well (december), ventilation in private washrooms not so well, bed was two beds put together. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room not cleaned day to day. Breakfast was well stocked but of average quality. All in all a good deal for the area.

Wonderful hotel over looking the Baltic Sea

Wonderful hotel Overlooking the Baltic in a beautiful historic town. The staff was amazing. Great a room with a terrace, well worth the extra cost.

Basic accommodation in great location

Great location. Friendly staff. Room was modest but had great views. Detached bathroom was very basic and poor drainage in the shower caused the floor to be flooded anytime the shower was used. The breakfst was incuded and was very good.

Beautiful view!

Adequate room if you're there only to sleep. Clean but small room with table & folding plastic chairs. Great view, great food in restaurant, friendly staff. Flusher on toilet stuck requiring manipulating or the water ran constantly. Overall though good value for the money.

Fantastisk sted at overnatte i Gudhjem

Vi overnattede der i forbindelse med et arrangement på øen. Meget hjælpsomt personale go service, fine værelser og go morgenmad. Terrasse med udsigt over Gudhjem og gå afstand til torvet.
