Awesome place!!

I felt safe to stay at Hilton. Not this time around I guess I had higher expectations and never have I experienced anything like this at a Hilton! Let me star off with our first day that should have been a sign for me to leave and not ever stay at this hotel. My reservation included breakfast for 2 keep in mind I booked 3 nights. My son and I went to check out the breakfast options, come to find out my breakfast package only included one table which included bread and juice. I said that’s fine if we get anything else I’ll gladly pay the difference. Apparently this was not enough for the tall man with the suit running the floor that morning! I guess he thought I wanted to run off with out paying the small plate of beans and chips that I got from the warm section of the breakfast he asked the other servers to keep a close eye on me and literally everything I looked at they made sure to mention that’s not part of your free breakfast! At this point I felt very uncomfortable but decided that I would just take my few pieces of bread and pay whatever difference I owed. There was a young lady who was very polite and even felt embarrassed for the man that running the floors behavior! She apologized and said she even felt the way I was being treated and it was wrong but she said that man does it all the time! Needless to say I did not allow this to ruin my stay! I simply said I won’t go back! Not to mention the cleaning service helping themselves to money we left on the table!

Unfortunately the gym, pool, and much of the amenities were closed due to COVID.....

Nice place. But seems like staff had preference towards guests that stay there regularly. Even after closing amenities they would reopen to prefered people they know. My kids were kicked out of the gym after being there 20 minutes because another guest wanted to use it after hours. It caused us a lot of grief. I will never return again.

We had to pay for hotel parking, it was not stated, not a problem. Breakfast was supposed to be included it wasn’t, not a problem. We decided to eat breakfast there, we sat down and a few minutes later a server showed up spraying the table completely disregarding us. I immediately jumped up in disbelief. He kept spraying, as if nothing was wrong all while my mother was wiping her face from the spray and my niece holding her breath. I almost slapped the guy in the face!

My room had insects roach and my luggage had worms

Very nice pool area, usually empty and nice to have on hot days. While both onsite restaurants look nice only Los Vitrales is worth it. I did not like La Reforma - overpriced with worse customer service, the food & drink were not matching with the fancy looks of the place ex. mixed drinks were delivered with basic/no garnishing and the food was just okay definitely not up to expectations in any way. The rooms were okay but definitely not worthy of a 4+ star rating with the walls, furnishings and all small details being quite old, stained, grimy and in general falling apart - of which the shower area was the worst over all. The beds were big & pillows soft, I had to request new bedding on the first night as the covers had small blotches of what appeared to be dried blood stains on them (maybe red paint but there was no red anywhere in the room). Overall these were 3 star hotel rooms. Cleaning staff was friendly but didn't speak English and entered the room a lot without permission (even with the extra internal locks on - which makes those pointless BTW) often doing so while I was in it sleeping. Concierge was quite helpful but one thing that bothered me was a $300 deposit just to borrow a really old worn out umbrella that cut my finger with a sharp metal release. The small general store onsite was okay but overpriced, though the staff was nice. Liquor store was also overpriced though nice to look at. Overall averages out to 4 stars but very lacking in key ways.

Property Interior Is Dated and so it’s furniture chair, leg rest and roll out chair it looks like it was picked up off the street.

Nos es grato comentarle que ya está en nuestros planes inmediatos el continuar con la remodelación de las habitaciones del hotel. Este proyecto lo tuvimos que descontinuar debido a la pandemia. I was notified that the monay taken from the room was a misunderstanding and it was given back to you that very day. Also reception gave you 2 Breakfasts free of charge. I already talked to the people in reception and in the restaurant in order to make sure these situations never happen again.
