Very friendly staff who was helpful as I arrived later then expected. Room and bathroom were very cosy and spacious. Large parking area. Breakfast was served in a nearby bakery and was good. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff were amazing - I got to Gronau train station late (after 10pm) due to travel delays. As a consequence there were no taxis available and so the hotel chef kindly collected me. Absolutely amazingly kind and helpful from all the staff.

Hier waren wir entsetzt wie der Zustand des Badezimmer war. Total abgeranzt und dreckig und sehr klein. Die Hebeanlage war sehr laut. Das Zimmer ansich war ok, die Lautstärke war (wie zu erwarten) an einer Hauptstraße laut. Aber für eine Nacht auszuhalten. Hier werden wir nicht nochmal übernachten. Wir können nicht verstehen wir hier so hohe Bewertungen zustande kommen und warum die Negativen verschwinden.

Het hotel is voor de prijs redelijk tot goed. Erg gehorig vanwege de weg voorlangs. Op verzoek kregen we een binnenplaats kamer echter waren er bouwlui v.a.06.30 luidruchtig bezig. Ontbijt was goed, de thee warm en de koffie koud.

Hell und freundlich

Es war mein dritter Aufenthalt im Hotel Verst und es gibt nichts zu bemängeln. Der Straßenlärm wird sehr effektiv durch Dreifachverglasung und Rolladen eliminiert, man wird freundlich empfangen und das optionale Frühstück gibt einen guten Start in den Tag.

Overnatning efter lang køretur fra Danmark

Dette sted blev valgt da det lå 10min fra GGM-gastro som var et af turens foretningsmål. Vi ankom ca. 23:30 så ringede da vi kunne se det ville blive uden for normal indtjekning. Men fik af vide at dette ikke ville være et problem og de ville vente på os. Da vi ankom til dette lille kro-aktige og idylliske sted til trods for at det ligger i udkanten af byen med byggemarked på modsatte side og en kilometer til motorvejen. Alt var mørkt så vi gav ejeren et kald igen. Lyset blev tændt og han kom ned kort efter og tog pænt i mod os. Vi fik udleveret nøgler til vores værelser og spurgt til hvornår vi ønskede morgenmad. Op til vores rum det gik på 1. Sal. De var virkeligt pænt indrettet og alt rent og pænt. Som resten af dette hyggelige sted. Dejlig atmosfære og kun mødt venlighed og imødekommenhed. Manden kan lidt engelsk men hans kone næsten intet. Så da vores tyske er ubrugt og rusten. Blev det få ord og fagter da der skulle betales dagen efter. Men hvis vi havde haft tiden ville jeg/vi gerne havde været retur og spist aftensmad på restauranten. Eller taget en øl ved baren. (Men vi havde 6 timer på motorvejen mod familie foran os)Alt i alt helt klart anbefales og overnatter og spiser og hygger gerne her en anden gang. Der hang billeder af det resterende personale. Men nåde aldrig at møde dem. Sikkert også grundet vi var der op til en helligdag. Så om de også kun ville kunne tale tysk eller også engelsk vides ikke... Men sikkert på de ville være høflige og venlige. Michael.

Mein zweiter Aufenthalt im Hotel Verst war erneut ohne Makel. Die Mitarbeiter sind ausgemacht freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Zimmer sind sauber und ausreichend groß. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend vom Angebot her, der Kaffee schmeckt großarig udn die Brötchen/Semmeln sind unschlagbar gut!

Hotel restaurant Verst ligt aan een drukke weg. Het paradepaardje is de keuken, deze is erg goed! In mijn beleving moeten ze daar hun bekendheid ook van hebben. Het inchecken was erg rommelig omdat dit gebeurde aan de bar tussen het serveren door omdat er geen receptie is. De kamers zijn schoon en erg netjes, wat er in moet staan staat erin. De douchecabine is prima maar een goede schoonmaak beurt met antischimmelmiddel spray is geen overbodige luxe. Heerlijk geslapen op een boxspring met een goeie stevige kussen. Nu ga ik het hebben over het ontbijt, je zou zeggen met zo'n fantastische keuken dat het ontbijt ook groots zou zijn. Helaas dit was niet het geval, heb nog nooit zo'n sober ontbijt gehad. Ik moest zelf op zoek naar koffie. De Keuze van het brood was reuze, 2 sneetje brood, 1 sneetjes roggebrood en plusminus 10 Duitse harde bolletjes. Het beleg was redelijk standaard. Ik moet inderdaad niet zeuren maar gezien het niveau van de keuken had ik meer verwacht. Samen gevat, ben je op doorreis of je houd van lekker eten en je stelt niet teveel eisen aan een hotel of ontbijt dan is dit adres een prima keus.

Hotel Verst - Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt!

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Verst war einfach großartig. Wir konnten unseren Hund mitbringen, was besonders toll war. Das gesamte Personal war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Highlight war zweifellos das Restaurant – das Essen war von höchster Qualität und ein echtes kulinarisches Erlebnis. Die Zimmer waren gemütlich und sauber. Die Lage des Hotels ist ruhig und dennoch gut erreichbar. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Besuch!
