This hotel was a very nice looking hotel. Had an Old Hotel vibe, like you stepped back in time. The only slight draw back is that the wood floors are loud, but I would stay there again any time I'm in the area.

The property is beautiful and the rooms are spotless and updated. The bar is beer and wine only and was not open during my stay. The breakfast consisted of a couple of pastries and a coffee pot. Due to the design of the building, there is no noise dampening between rooms and common areas. I was not able to sleep due to all the noise from the hallway and neighboring room.

This hotel is completely renovated but still has its historic charm. We stayed after a concert at the Griffin Opera House, which is a block away. Several good restaurants within walking distance, too.

Nicely developed hotel; friendly, professional staff, clean and quiet. Checks all of the critical boxes. No bell service, which is an issue if room is on the forth or fifth floor. No valet but ample on-site parking so not essential. The staff is welcoming and attentive. We didn’t try breakfast since we went to local eateries. Centrally located for food and entertainment.
5th floor suite is spacious but has a window that cannot be covered.
5th floor suite bedroom area with bathroom and walk-in closet right off bed area.
5th floor suite entry door opens into sitting area.
Charging connections on both bedside nightstands and also on lamp base.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful! It was very clean, newly remodeled, and so convenient! The staff was great.. we enjoyed sitting on the front porch and listening to the piano being played by one of the staff members! We highly recommend staying here!

I enjoyed my stay at the Historic Griffin Hotel. Great little small town with several restaurants within walking distance. The hotel itself has a beautiful classic feel. The rooms themselves are updated but still have wooden floors and exposed brick. Staff was very helpful and friendly... like you would expect in a small town. Would stay again.
