Couldn’t have asked for a better view, better service, better room, everything was great. Location is close to multiple wineries and great restaurants. Was a very reasonable price for the experience we had! Breakfast is great!

My wife and I stayed in La Villa for three nights - I assure you, the pictures don't even do it justice. It's well worth the Euros, and everyone who works at Borgo Del Cabreo was more than helpful. If you don't have a car, send Sandra a text message to arrange a ride in the area and book yourself a tour at the nearby Castillo Di Verrazzano.

We were fortunate enough to stay here in 2017 just after it opened and it wowed us so much we vowed to some back. Our second stay was even better than the first. The staff are amazing, breakfast is amazing, the room was amazing and even the walk up the hill from the town after dinner made it worth it. To cap it all, we even met the owners at the Saturday evening aperitivo This really is a fantastic place to stay and we hope to be able to enjoy stay number three in the coming years Miss Borgo Del Cabreo at your peril

My husband and I stayed here at the end of August 2019 to start off our honeymoon. We had previously booked in May 2019, but arrived at the hotel and had to turn around and fly back to Canada for a family emergency. The hotel handled it so wonderfully in such a stressful time. They accommodated us back in August and did not charge for cancelling our first stay - which shows just how wonderful and caring they are. When we returned in August we were able to enjoy the beauty of the property. We did not have a car, but went for walks around the hills and enjoyed the pool afterwards. There is no restaurant, but the breakfast is amazing and they have snacks and soft drinks and wine (of course!) available always. You can order pizza or pasta from town to your room. We went to town to one of their suggested restaurants, and it was wonderful. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and having a great time while still giving you privacy.

Fabulous 2 night stay in villa. Grounds are exceptional as is the view of the olive and vineyards surrounding it. Our villa had a mezzanine bedroom and double storey living room. All air conditioned. Furnishing and fittings are first class. Breakfast was also excellent on the terrace overlooking the grounds and swimming pool. For evening meals you could walk (20 mins) into Greve or drive. The road is unlit however so if you decided to stay in the house staff could organise a delivery for you. Don’t miss out on the wine tasting either. The Chianti will not disappoint.

Well 3 years in a row we have been visiting this resort and we are always happy coming hear and sad when we leave. The service is impeccable and it's super clean and crisp Lutiano is more of a hoast in a family home then a hotelier. If we should complain on something it's the wasps at breakfast and this year a group of extremely drunk and noisy englishmen/womans but that is not in the hands of the staff. Once again it's sad to leave but we will see you again next year that's a promise.

This place is magical. We were upgraded to a large room with a spacious living room, large bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. The hotel itself is surrounded by pure beauty, vineyards and olive groves in the heart of Chianti. Great heated swimming pool and many areas to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Restaurants were close by in Greve. We drove 20 minutes to a lovely restaurant up in the hills called Lamole - we had a fabulous meal here. Breakfast were plentiful - fruit, yoghurt, croissants, quiche, cold meats, cheese, eggs. Staff super friendly and always willing to help. Local wines available at very reasonable prices from the hotel cellar. We had the most fabulous stay and would recommend this hotel to anybody, you will not be disappointed.

A lovely boutique hotel with just ten rooms, we stayed here for a week & experienced excellent service from friendly staff who were helpful in every way. With guests mostly either young honeymooners or middle aged couples the setting is peaceful. A good selection for breakfast each day, taken outside on the terrace in sunshine but with shade options too but note, other than cold, soft drinks, fruit & ice creams available via an honesty jar system you will need to drive elsewhere or walk into Greve for lunch & dinner. The walk into town is an easy 15 minute stroll but down a v steep hill which makes for a much tougher (& hot) return walk back. There is also a wine cellar on site to purchase red or white wines & we were very lucky to have the in-hotel wine tasting & buffet dinner on our first night as we arrived on a Saturday. I would say, as many people arrived during the week & stayed for just a couple of days it would be nice to repeat this mid-week too - it was also good fun, delicious food & a great way to meet other guests. Our room was lovely, with a semi-private terrace & overlooking the hillside. The pool was a perfect size & lovely to be heated so there wasn’t any cold-shock upon first entering. We also booked onto the wine tour & tasting in the vineyard which was very informative & impressive. We visited all the key places in the area with most being an easy 30-40 minutes drive, so is a good central spot for this. Greve itself has a number of eateries, including a good pizza restaurant (La Cantina) for an economical & bustling evening, La Terazza for a quieter & more sophisticated experience and Caffe Le Loggia for something in between. We also ate at the highly acclaimed Lamole Restaurant (15 min taxi ride awa) and for us, as a pair of vegetarians & one also gluten free, we found the staff very helpful & accommodating but the food very rich in overpowering truffle (we discovered we didn’t like the smell/taste) and some dishes unappetising when the arrived - see separate review. But, back to the hotel - yes, we’ll be returning in a couple of years or so when we visit this area again - highly recommend it

This is one of our top four hotels in our lifetime. It compares well with a castle in England, a castle in Ireland, and a lodge in Tanzania. The room and bed, the shower and towels, the views from everywhere, and the breakfast buffet selection, presentation, setting, and service were all perfetto!

This little piece of paradise caught our hearts. The rural setting, the breakfast and attention to detail. Michele and staff could not do more to make us feel welcome. Simply the best accommodation in the last ten years outside of cities
