Best resort in the whole Bahamas and best old fashion and margarita I ever had. And top service. the view and the beach was very nice especially in sunset. a lot of people get married there tho. It was awsome
Great peaceful Location with wonderful and tasty Sushi ...Limited choice but very well executed and the Chef is always Happy to accommodate your needs ... A must wee resort in a quiet environment .. !
We spend 7 nights in the Cove and felt that this was too long. The resort is very eco friendly but likewise retreated. Not much offered on the watersports except for SUP, cayacking, snorkeling... The motorized water sports are not existent. The offered motorboat is only available upon request and not stationed on site. Rooms are somewhat worn off and seen better days. The main building is very noisy - you can easily hear your neighbors. The food though is great and drinks at the outside bar during sunset - stunning. In case we go back we will reduce to probably 2 nights. The more vibrant spot is Harbor Island.
This was an amazing trip. Favorite resort we have ever been to. Garab the butler was the best. He was so kind and helpful and made sure we had the best and carefree time. If your lucky enough to have Garab as your caretaker, you'll have a great time at the cove. Also the food was AMAZING. Great breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. Almost no complaints with the food. Also the service was great as every time we came back to the room it was clean and everything was folded. The beach is beautiful and feels very private with no more than a couple families on the beach at a time. Everyone was friendly and accommodating and we would love to stay here again. We're going to miss Garab the most. Get that man a raise!
This is a hidden resort at the beautiful island of Eleuthera. The whole resort has plenty of huge palm trees which will be lighted at night (magical). The pool and beach area is secluded and you feel like being a royal. Sure the resort is pricy but it's worth it. The restaurant offers great food and drinks. We are going to be back!
Our stay exceeded our expectations, which were high. Everything was close to perfect. The staff was so friendly and eager to please. Everyone from the managers, to housekeeping, to butlers, valets, front desk, bar manager and beach staff were always smiling and ready to help. The alcoholic drinks were great, the food perfect, service great, view incredible. The ocean so clear and perfect as was the pool. The rooms were so nice. ours was an oceanfront room and we could lay in bed and watch the sea with every imaginable shade of blue. We also had chairs and a table to enjoy our morning coffee on the front porch. The Nespresso machine in the room was lovely and appreciated. we had two indoor showers, a tub and my favorite the outdoor shower which was private and had the same ocean view. We rarely left the resort, only taking a cab and ferry to Harbor Island to check it out one day. That was beautiful as well, and we got to see some sights, but nothing beat the Cove. Kudos to the management and thank you to all the staff.
My wife and I came to The Cove last year for our Honeymoon and fell in love. We returned this year for our one year anniversary and it couldn't have been more perfect. A few days prior to our arrival Bekera helped me set up a Jeep rental as well as our transportation from the airport. We were treated to the complimentary Bahama Mama upon arrival and check in was a breeze. We stayed in Kamalame Cottage 3 this year and would HIGHLY recommend a cottage. They are tucked back behind the Ocean Front Suites and are incredibly peaceful. When we got to our room we were greeted with a bottle of wine and a plate of fresh fruit with a personalized note congratulating us on our anniversary which was SO nice. The food is pricey, but very very good. I have never had a bad meal there. The coconut French Toast is to die for. Service is amazing and everyone is so nice. It is such a refreshing change of pace from The Cove Atlantis. We will never stay anywhere but The Cove Eleuthera when we are on Eleuthera. See you next year!!
I read tons of reviews for our 20th Wedding Anniversary trip and The Cove did not disappoint. We just returned from our trip, June 3-7, 2017 and are already planning our return, and 4 nights was not long enough! FYI, we are crazy busy, early 40s, 3 active boys, not enough quiet time, and seeking a special getaway. Sound familiar, read on ;) A handwritten note and bottle of wine were waiting for us upon checkin, and a spectacular upgrade to the Caribbean Cove Suite #5 (CCS 5). This is one of their king, ocean-front duplex cottages, and it was AMAZING! We were 30 steps to the beach and a few more to the infinity pool and restaurant. The location was perfect, and I will request this cottage EVERY TIME. All the other reviews about the clean room, amenities, amazing service and great food are all spot on. Some other things to note...We were there in early June, and the occupancy was around 20%, just past their busy spring season. We often had the entire beach or pool to ourselves for hours, which was delightful. We felt no need to leave the resort because it was exactly what we wanted. Our mornings started with a delicious room service breakfast in comfy robes gazing at the amazing view, our days were spent lazily moving from beach to pool and back to beach, and our evenings spent watching the beautiful sunset, drinks in hand on our front porch chairs. Imagine 4 days of this -- you will not want to leave! Although there were some kids there, I think the resort is ideal for couples looking for adult tranquility. The wifi in the rooms and around the resort are great. We brought our Amazon firestick and played music and watched movies in the room. We only used our bathing suits, cover-ups and flip flops the entire time -- utterly relaxing and casual. Like other reviewers have said, the food and drinks are expensive. We spent about $350 per day on meals and drinks, but were quite satisfied with the quality, quantity and convenience. Highly recommend their fish entrees (grouper, snapper, mahi mahi), fish tacos, Cove Burger, chicken salad wrap and breakfast items: Harvest Omelet, coconut french toast, blueberry pancakes. The food was very good. Next time we'll stop at Jimmy's right next to the ELH airport and pick up some beverages to save a little money, but other than that we hope to have a repeat trip. The Cove delivered the most relaxing, special vacation getaway, and we cannot wait to return!
1) The staff is the friendliest and most accommodating that I have experienced anywhere. It is not just the front desk. It goes throughout the entire facility; housekeeping, lawn care, wait staff,...everyone! 2) The beaches are fantastic. Very few people to contend with, available water toys, sandy, close by snorkel locations,...and they have 2 separate beaches. Plus, there is a freshwater infinity pool to change it up as well. 3) Great location for watching a sunset. 4) Excellent restaurant on premises and a few places to try within 3 miles for a change of pace
My husband and I just spent a few days there and we loved every single moment of it. The environment is glorious. The Cove has two different areas to beach in. The water is so beautiful. The grounds are well manicured and there are multiple levels of lodging. The café and the restaurant have exquisite food! Chef Mike just won a culinary contest at the pineapple festival. Julian, who's the supervisor at the restaurant was very gracious and took an order for breakfast before we even got there! My husband and I met 16 different staff at The Cove. Every single one of them was congenial, professional and when we left we were all good friends. The office staff make you feel at home the moment that you arrive . We enjoyed conversing with the waitstaff, porters, gift store staff and housekeepers to learn more about The Cove and the island. We decided to go to The Cove as one of our bucket list items. Well we've added The Cove back on our bucket list since we will surely be going again! If you go to The Cove you will make lasting memories and friends as well. Thank you Cove staff
