A Perfect Getaway

We had such a lovely visit here. The property was clean and super comfortable. It had a perfect beach vibe so I felt like I was on a beach vacation even while working from “home” throughout the week. The beds were all comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. The location was a bit of a concern for us. We worried it would be too far from Chincoteague but the 20-30 minute drive never really felt like that big a deal. We went to the beach several times and ate in Chincoteague almost everyday. The neighborhood is fun to explore. Our dog loved going for walks and we liked seeing all the different homes on the waterways. We had a lovely brunch at the clubhouse and enjoyed the pool. It’s a perfect spot if you don’t feel the need to be SUPER close to everything but still want a beautiful, cozy beach house within driving distance of all the tourist spots.

Great Location and Hosts

We had a wonderful time and this is an easy drive to nearby beaches! The house was very clean, well appointed kitchen, and comfy seating.

Overall great place

We enjoyed our stay at Baywatch Bungalow in Captain's Cove. The house is clean and is what it says in the listing. It's close to the beach (20 min.) and the town where the beach is. The town is small and had mini golf, ice cream, and shops but that is about it. That said there are some things you should know before staying in this community. The amenities fee is needed for all amenities (not just the pool). You need it for the bike trail, tennis, etc. Also, do not assume the neighbors will allow water access because it's close to this home. You must ask first. We had a hard time finding where to enter the water with our kayaks. Lastly, (not the owner's fault but....) I feel we should have been warned that there was a home being built next door to this house. We woke to banging and talking in the early morning. There were trucks in the driveway not allowing us to leave when we wanted. We also had to look at a porta potty when we were on the porch. I know this is something that no one can control but we should have been told before we booked. This is a new build community so there is a lot of construction going on.

Just a short get away

The house was great. Had all items you need for a short stay. The only concern was the unannounced construction of a new house next door. A lot of noise starting very early every morning we stayed. Would have picked another house if knew ahead of time of the construction.

Great location, great house

This was the perfect location for my granddaughter', son, husband,and me to spend a week. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The proximity to amenities on the property is excellent, and the proximity to the attractions in Chincoteague is perfect. Excellent management company. Amazing house

Greenbackville Baywatch Bungalow

Beautiful property and accommodations. Everything was very easy, and made our stay comfortable, and stress free. One improvement would be to make the message and email information the same as the book that is in the house. Directions about check out time, and what to do, were not the same. Otherwise, everything was smooth. Thank you Seaside Vacations.

Nice stay at a Bayside Getaway

Our family needed a minivacation and Bayside Bungalow was a perfect choice to allow us to gather and enjoy both the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge and the Assateague Island National Seashore parks. This home was a very nice little beach home providing us great views of the Chincoteague Bay. The home was well maintained, and our living space was just the right size for our family of four. We enjoyed each evening looking out on to the bay each evening upon our return from the beach, a very nice sitting area with a perfect sized TV and most importantly a spacious dining area that had a large kitchen table that made for great evening of playing board and card games. We are home cooking people, so a well-stocked kitchen is important to our family and the bungalow did not disappoint. We have all the equipment needed to prepare our breakfasts and dinners each day on our stay. The appliances all were in great condition, a functional icemaker is always appreciated, and a huge pantry made storage a breeze. The bedrooms were very nice, spacious and comfortable. The home allowed for our family to have a much-needed great break at the Easten shore area, and we will definitely look forward to another stay at this bungalow in the fall.

Beautiful property

Our stay here was beyond what we hoped it would be. The place was much larger than we expected. It looked clean, it smelled clean, and everyone was so happy. We had two smaller children with us and they had such a good time both inside and outside the property. Management checked in with us via text to make sure everything was as we hoped, and they made sure if we needed anything they were accessible. We plan on using this property in the future.

Quick Getaway

Very easy and efficient check in and check out process. The company kept in touch throughout our stay making sure things were running smoothly and if we had questions or concerns. We enjoyed the serenity away from the everyday hustle. We were here after Labor Day but they still had daily activities at the clubhouse and special events on the weekend. The beautiful beach was a just a short drive. Perfect location for us.

Relaxing getaway

What a gem of a house for my husband and I to relax and enjoy Chincoteague! So clean, well decorated and then there’s the fabulous views from every window. Will definitely rent again!
