Hotel was very clean and the staff are amazing. The food was phenomenal and great value for money We were in room 1 and there are stairs directly outside the door which is a bit dangerous The only thing I would change would be the room you can sit in for drinks where reception is was so quiet it felt uncomfortable if you wanted to have a chat.

Old hotel pretending to provide luxury. Nothing but street parking available and no pull in to drop off bags. No elevator! Food is good, service staff are excellent, and the hotel is just across from Great Yarmouth beach.

The Hotel was excellent the staff were very polite helpful friendly tidy and very good at their job. The breakfast was not only amazing piping hot very good quality very big and was given service to the table. The room was spotless the bed was very comfortable plenty of tea coffee etc only one thing no lift to top floor but very boutique style would definitely go back

Beautiful boutique hotel and we had the best room .The Suite . .. comfortable bed could have done with softer 2 pillows .. other than that absolutely stunning and perfect for us . Breakfast excellent.. we ate twice in the evening and the food was fantastic.

We stayed for one night, and it was fabulous! The staff and manager really made this stay great. Nothing was too much trouble. It was relaxing and calm. Everything was spotless clean. Our bedroom was great, with a view of the sea spacious and really comfortable. The food was excellent so compliments to the chef! Enjoyed the stay so much we are booking again. We really recommend this hotel...but more than anything what a fantastic team.

Hotel Ocean is a comfortable beachfront boutique hotel (9 rooms on 3 floors– No lift) by the sea which offers ocean views and easy access to local attractions. The staff at Hotel Ocean were attentive and friendly making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. Our room (room 2 – 1st floor) was nicely decorated with a comfortable bed, mini fridge, free Wi-Fi, daily bottles of mineral water, and a flat-screen. Extras like a kettle with tea, coffee, biscuits, and Green & Vegan Anyah Eco Spa Treatment shampoo & body wash in the private shower room made our stay even more pleasant. A second armchair would have been nice for added comfort, but with the existing armchair and desk chair, it worked well enough. Our stay included breakfast at their onsite Box Tree Bistro which offered a great variety of breakfast options, we particularly enjoyed their full English, Egg benedictine / Egg royale breakfasts and their breakfast fruit salad – Portions were generous. The Box Tree Bistro also offered lunches, and evening meals, with options for indoor or outdoor dining. We mostly dined onsite as they had a delicious and reasonably priced menu. Parking was hassle-free, with free street parking available beside or behind the hotel in Resident Parking Zone A. Simply giving our registration number upon check-in, the hotel arranged a visitor permit. We never had trouble finding a spot, allowing us to explore Great Yarmouth without worrying about parking fees.

Great stay

Great place and great position on the front . We only stayed two nights and said we would go out to eat on the second night but could not decide on were to go so ate at the hotel for the second time and i have to say that both nights were exceptional food wise . Room was clean and had everything we needed . The hotel decor and furniture were well chosen . The staff were hard working and very charming we have to give a big shout out to Morgan who kept us talking most of our first night , good luck on your driving test and you football scholarship . Anif you do get to the states enjoy . But the food we have to say is exceptional thank you chef and to all the staff . Thank you

Great hotel right on the sea front and activities

Really lovely place to stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and they didn’t overcharge at the bar like other places do. Recommend a stay here. The only down size was no lifts as small hotel. We were on the top floor and my poor knees knew about it 😂

Would definitely return

The staff at the Ocean were incredible, they couldn’t do enough for us, such a great team! Room was lovely, was a little noisy at night due to other guests but isn’t the hotels fault. Breakfast was delicious, all made fresh and could make adjustments to suit.
