Separate Toilet.. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Enclosed rear garden with sitting out area and garden furniture. Sea fishing on-site. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: Access is via an unmade road.. Overlooking and positioned directly opposite the wonderful sandy beach, just a few steps and you will have arrived at the shore. This detached holiday bungalow is a fantastic choice for a relaxed seaside break and will delight from the moment you arrive. Comfortably furnished, it offers sociable open-plan accommodation with commanding sea views. Please note that the wood burner is for display only and not for use. You have miles of walking to enjoy straight from the doorstep, so be sure to pack your walking boots. The enclosed garden makes a welcoming place to return to after a day of fun, where you can take a seat and soak up the last of the evening sunshine.

Scratby itself is a well-served village with a mini market and post office, antiques centre, coffee shops, pubs and restaurants. It is also a great base for exploring the delights of Norfolk. The nearby chalet parks apply day rates (chargeable by the park) and guests are welcome to enjoy their indoor and outdoor swimming pools, crazy golf, go-karting track, adventure playground and clubhouse facilities.

Take a trip to the Golden Mile at Great Yarmouth and discover a host of traditional seaside attractions including the Pleasure Beach. Thrill seekers may enjoy a day out at Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park in Lowestoft. For a change of pace, visit Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens and brave the tiger walk through the treetops. Nearby Caister Castle features a classic car museum, or you can enjoy a day at the races, with both horse and dog racing available locally. There is also BeWILDerwood at Horning, the Sea Life Centre in Great Yarmouth and plenty of great places to eat and drink in the surrounding area.

You are close to the Norfolk Broads National Park, where you can drift along the famous waterways by chartering your own day launch or joining an organised tour. This wonderful location means you’re near all the action, including the city of Norwich, recently voted one of the top five UK cities to visit, with its Norman castle and numerous museums, galleries and theatres. Lovely property

Property was lovely and we had nice weather…. Just make sure you don’t have to change anything as cottages.com the most unfriendly and non flexible company to try and deal with if less than 7 weeks before you go you have no chance of any help or assistance from them. Property and location great just don’t have a lowered vehicle or will struggle in the lane

So relaxing

An unusual and beautiful location. We felt lucky to be there. Very peaceful and gorgeous views. There is an unmade road to access and we needed to drive very slowly as we did scrape the bottom the car once or twice from large pot holes. But going very slowly helped. However, once there it is a lovely relaxing location. It is modern and clean with all the general amenities you would need. We were super comfortable there. If you need a dishwasher there isnt one but we were not too bothered about that. Lovely walks along the front. Very good for dogs. Good base to explore Norfolk from. We would certainly go again.
