We love GBI this such a great location. Short walk to the cafe,beach, grocery and Irish pub! Plenty of room in the house out outside for kids to play. Beds were cozy! The place was extremely clean. Gavin was great to communicate with. The sunset from this place couldn’t be better!

Beautiful Great Barrier Island

Fantastic host, communication was awesome. Views of the bay are wonderful, unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy amazing sunsets or starry nights as the weather was bad. The beds are nice and comfortable with fresh crispy linen. Will definitely be back.

Great little cottage

This bach was a great to base our 6 day stay on Aotea/GBI. Conveniently located near a general store, cafe and pub, and short walking distance to great swimming beach. Gavin made sure we had everything we needed and responded quickly to all email communication throughout.

Awesome base for GBI Adventures

Met at the home by the owner who was friendly and helpful...was prepared to go out of his way to accommodate our needs. Tidy, comfy, home with wonderful views and entertaining birdlife. Central to Tryphena; beaches, cafe and pubs etc. Nothing bad to say about our experience at #58.

Beautiful sunsets and great location

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The view was incredible and it was wonderful to have deck right off of the main lounge. The beds were very comfortable and the cottage was truly charming. Our host was super helpful and really helped our family have a wonderful stay.
