Villa was very roomy, Location was very nice, staff were friendly, kitchen door handles were very dirty, there were roaches in the rooms, no dryer in the villa.

Compared with other Suva hotels, the Tanoa Plaza is a good choice. The rooms are not huge, but adequate if you don't camp out in them. Minimal choice of TV stations, but one can get the news. Nice queen-size bed. Nice shower. Minimal toiletries but adequate. The room safe us big enough for a 13 inch laptop, but getting it to work might take a few hours. Room service and the restaurant has only a minimal but adequate selection.
The only real complaint was the bellman service. When they run off with one's stuff, including the briefcase while checking in, and then try to see what code one is trying to enter into the room safe; that is either very poor training or nefarious intent.
