We only stayed for one night but overall we quite liked the hotel. The pool area is nice, as is the Jacuzzi, but guests tend to reserve loungers with their towels and there aren't enough around the pool. This is a family hotel so don't expect to relax in peace as kids abound. The bar by the pool served good meat dished but the beer was far too expensive and we had to wait a while to be seated. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner provides wonderful buffet food of a better quality than found at some hotels. It also enjoys stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The room itself was not huge but comfortable enough.

I rate it with five stars as we were travelling with a baby as well. There are a lot of activities to do with the children. What I liked the most are the rabbits let free in the garden near the pool, they were just walking peacefully and the kids love it. great view, great location, rooms and the restaurants are all with view. Nice staff. Food was also very good. Overall great experience. Although I wouldn't recommend for a romantic trip, at least not in the school vacation season.

We stayed for one night at this hotel and found it very comfortable, with friendly and efficient staff. The food is buffet style and offers a huge choice, which gives an opportunity to sample lots of different dishes. The pool is lovely and we enjoyed an afternoon relaxing there.

Hotel has a beautiful location in the mountains looking across one of the white villages. Rooms are good size and the outdoor pool is great. The dinner buffet is one of the best ones I have seen and so is the breakfast. It is a great place to enjoy the Andalusian sun & outdoors with friends and/or family.

This place is in the middle of the mountains with gorgeous views, nice staff and good breakfast. Rooms are just ok. We visited Ronda which was beautiful as well as Grazalema town which was also nice and walked for a while in the jungle next to a starting river which was so nice and relaxing.

Grazalema is one of the Pueblos Blancos" of Andalucia. It has been voted one of the prettiest small towns (Pueblos) of Spain and this hotel on the outskirts of town just across the valley provides one of the most wonderful comprehensive views of the town and mountain backdrops. It is also a couple Km away from its main parking. The rooms have balconies with these views. The rooms are spacious, the service friendly and multilingual and the breakfast fabulous and abundant, The nights are peaceful and the parking and wi.fi free. How they can afford it at at those excellent prices is a very gratifying mystery. In a future trip we plan to stay for several days in such idyllic place and walk their wonderful trails

Larger hotel overlooking the city of Grazalema. Although it does not have "local charm" , we loved the larger rooms. Although this hotel is modern, it just felt welcoming. The staff was helpful and the facility was quite nice. We went to Ronda for a side trip. The area is very rural and quite peaceful. We were not a fan of the restaurant however. It was a buffet and just average. We would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is located outside the main town and is great if you have transport. You can in short drive spans go to Grazalema, Benamojama, El Bosque and Zahara de la Sierra. All these are worthy of exploring including the hiking routes. The hotel has an out door pool and the food and restaurant are excellent in terms of variety and quality and it's all you can eat! This said those of you who don't eat much might consider it Expensive. Breakfast was euro/person but every morning it's the same but has variety. The other good thing is that at a 2 minute walk of the main entrance there is a bar restaurant although we also tried it and it was 50/50. The services are really good and the staff are really helpful and responsive. This said we found that the hotel is really busy and there seems to be waiting times for restaurants or bar etc. The downfalls are that dogs are restricted in many places throughout the hotel and this is not specified in their advertising. We also had to pay extra for the dogs in our room something ridiculous in principle. Not really pet friendly I'm afraid!!!!! Last but not least the Internet wifi was rubbish!!!!!!!!!!

Lovely quiet hotel with all rooms and restaurant overlooking the valley and mountains. Lovely outdoor pool ( unheated) with the same views. Ground floor rooms open out onto garden with table and chairs. Amazing choice of breakfast buffet with every choice imaginable of milks and juices. Buffet dinner was good but not for anyone wanting a quiet meal. Will definitely return.

We stayed at Hotel Fuerte Grazalema for 3 nights. Our experience was excellent. The hotel is situated in beautiful surroundings! Everything was clean, beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The staff was also kind and helpful.
