STAYED 12/27/2017 Weather outside below zero. Heater not on over an hour with coats on before room warmed up. Only a sheet and thin blanket on bed. Had to go back to desk for another one. Bed and chair padding worn out. Staff at desk said she would look into it(ya right).
Thank you for being a pet friendly hotel. We stayed in Grayling as a stop over on our trip to Munising to visit family. Check in was easy, our room was very nice and clean, the bed was comfortable, breakfast was great, and check out was fine. Thank you for a very nice stay.
We stayed here on December 27, 2017 for 1 night. We had our room reserved and did not arrive until about 7pm. I do understand the outside temperature was below 0, so I know people may move slower, but when we entered our room we found that the heating unit had been off all day. The temperature in the room felt like maybe 30 degrees. I turned the unit on and blasted the heat as much as I could, but sat in a broken chair with my coat and gloves on for the next hour. Then we checked the bed and there was only one thin blanket on the bed. I went to the desk and got another as there was none in the room. I can understand keeping the heat off when room is not in use, but if the room is reserved it would be more welcoming to turn it on to at least 60 and then we could turn it up as needed. If we had walked in off the street then I could understand the heat not being on, but if you know we are coming don't you want to make a guest feel welcome.
It was a nice motel - not sure it was worth over $100 a night - and the first night we were there when we got to the room it was freezing and then the power went out in the middle of the night (due to weather) - woke up freezing. Husband went down for the complementary breakfast, he said it was sad. If you're in a pinch - it's a nice, clean room but a little expensive I thought.
Our 2 night stay was good. Arby's and the store at the gas stationed provided food and beverages. The pool was an added plus for our grandkids. Would stay there again.
We have stayed there twice. It was so good we had to stay again. Get a room on the woods side and you can watch deer out the window. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok not a huge selection but what they offered was good. Highly recommend.
We have stayed at this Super 8 before. It is a comfortable stop. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. The breakfast is okay. It will get you by until you need lunch. The area does not have many places to choose from to stay but this will do just fine for a nights stay.
Friendly staff, clean room and bedding. Bathroom was clean and stocked. Bed was really firm that was the only flaw for me.
We were on our way to northern Michigan. It was getting late and I pulled up Trivago.com and found this hotel at a great rate on booking.com. It was easy to make the reservation about 30 minutes before we arrived.
We was fit in last minute when we needed a place to stay. The girl at the counter was just super about everything. Room was very clean as usual. I wish the breakfast was served a little later. We didn't get to go to it. Internet not the best.
