Kick back and relax in this third tier oceanfront home sporting a calm, bright, stylish space, with ocean views and the sound of crashing waves visible and audible from almost every room. Guests love the beach access: an adjacent path which takes you right to the beach through dune grasses and wildflowers. The huge windows with ocean views, vaulted ceilings, open concept, and small, quiet, gated road make this home memorable and swanky.
View wildlife from the vast expanse of windows with sweeping ocean views: deer, coyotes, and bald eagles are common visitors and seen nearly daily.
The house is less than five years old and is perfect for a romantic getaway or a small family. It is second tier ocean front which means there is a home between it and the ocean as shown in the photos. The main living space is on the second floor which requires a longer than average flight of stairs to climb but the views up top are worth it. The clean and open concept layout along with tall, vaulted ceilings, encourages making memories and togetherness. The modern home accommodates 6 people perfectly and could accommodate more but may feel a bit full. Lots of natural light with ocean views from the main living spaces and primary bedroom. There is a back deck to enjoy the morning sun which has territorial (non-ocean) views and where you'll find a BBQ for evening grilling and beverages.
In the primary suite, fall asleep or snuggle your loved one while star-gazing a glittering dark, night sky with a background of crashing waves and wake up rested to sparkling ocean waters.
The second bedroom contains three beds: full-size bunkbeds (both top and bottom are full/doubles) and a twin sized trundle.
The kitchen is fully appointed with all the necessities and more. If you like to cook, this kitchen and its brand-new appliances are top notch, especially with a glass of wine at sunset, which fills the room in a warm glow. The open concept encourages gathering to eat, share, laugh, and make memories that will last a lifetime.
If you are booking with children, please note there are safety risks associated with this home: no outlet plug covers, exposed blind strings, cleaning supplies are kept in lower, unlocked cabinets, and several windows on the second story do not have screens. There is a long flight of stairs that must be climbed to reach the main living space. There is no gate at the top of the stairs.
If you are looking to stay with a pet, please message us prior to booking to discuss options. Size and breed limitations exist. Pets are not allowed on any furniture; a pet bed will be provided. Pet waste must be picked up and disposed of properly and pets must be leashed at all times while outside. Pets may not be left alone inside the house or inside any room without an adult. Guests will be held responsible for any damage incurred from pets.

We frequent our beach place; as a result you will see a few clothes of ours in the closet and some food in the fridge/freezer.
It is important for our home to be a good fit for our guests as well as our guests to be a good fit for us. We cater to families and friends seeking a relaxing and quiet time at the beach. We offer a quality product and provide a high level of customer service to our guests. In return, we expect our home to be well cared for and treated with respect. Failure to properly disclose the number of guests and/or pet information is considered a violation of contract and monies paid for use of the home will be forfeited. Yes, please note that children are welcome! They must also be included in the guest count on your reservation. We say this to be 100% clear so expectations are managed.

Beach done right
We loved our stay at this Grayland beach house. The house is about as close to the ocean as you’re going to get, with an easy 1/5 mile walk. The listing description is accurate and there are great views of the beach and ocean from the house through large windows. An added perk, there is an outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand in the back of the house and it even has hot water! We found the house to be clean and well laid out. The AC worked great as well as the high speed internet. We loved our time there and would definitely come back.

A great weekend getaway.
We had a fantastic stay. About as close to the ocean as you can get, it's only a quick stroll to the beach.
Our first night, we had a lovely sunset walk on the beach. The next day we mostly spent watching a storm rage through the floor-to-ceiling windows as the giant waves crashed on the beach. Not a half-bad view.
The house itself is super nice, new and well-appointed, with everything you need in a kitchen. The trip was ostensibly to watch the Super Bowl, which the large TV and sound system facilitated perfectly.
We didn't leave much, but it's only a ten or twelve-minute drive into the main heart of Westport for restaurants, bars, shops, and the like.
What else? Check-in/Check-out was all pretty straightforward.
Overall, it was a great weekend getaway.

Amazing house, awesome location!!!
We fell in love with the beaches at Grayland! Beautiful short walk to the beach. The house was super clean, very well stocked, and was in a nice gated community that was very quiet and safe! A perfect place for a beach vacation. Amy was amazing, gave lots of great suggestions on places to visit. Will be back again!

Grayland Beach Home
No need to pack all the extras for your stay in this home. All is provided, and perfectly appointed. We enjoyed the kitchen that provides everything (and more) to prepare meals. The home is kept in order and is super clean, with beautiful bath and beach towels, beach cart and chairs, wide screen TV with Bose system, etc. We enjoyed yoga and grilling on the back porch. The huge windows grant a view of the beach from all angles. It is a short walk to the beach on a maintained path. The host was kind and accommodating and helpful, and you can count on the listing to be accurate. It is also a quick walk to Grayland State park. It is a lovely house. Thank you Amy.
