The Railway Cottage - Quality Self Contained Cottage Style Accommodation

A one-bedroomed bungalow consisting of a living area with galleried ceiling, 1 double sofabed, and patio doors leading out to your own private patio area with lovely views over the valley, seperate dining area, fully fitted kitchen with washing machine, fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, etc), bathroom with shower and jacuzzi bath, and a separate bedroom. Beds can be arranged as either king size or singles, or a combination of the two. The Railway Cottage can accommodate up to 4 people.
The cottage is heated and features a kitchen and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom and a dining area. Guests can expect to find a TV with a DVD player. Heron Hill Retreat

The property owners were great and very responsive to our American quirks. They were friendly and on site to help at all times. Great accommodations and super owners. Would definitely stay here anytime for the care and the location. You are just tucked away on a quiet lane and the surrounding country side was awesome.

Superb Cottage

Lovely property, lovely host, very generous quality breakfast supplies and no complaints at all. Couple of minor observations that may help: We took our two dogs and the garden is very secure except for the main gate itself. We worried that our small dog could get through onto the lane and some wirefence material along the bottom 2 feet of the gate would have made us less worried. The second little concern was that the steps/slope up to the cottage would benefit from a handrail to make us old dodderers feel a little more secure.
