About this property

Luxury cabin with private coastline

The family lodge is now available to rent for select periods. Far from busy roads and right next to the sea, there is nothing but peaceful tranquility here. Take walks, go swimming on your own private coastline and bbq until your heart's content.

The house was built in 2020. You have all the modern compliments you could need in a cabin on an island only accessible by ferry. Wifi powered by fibre that was installed, espresso machine, TV (connect your netflix), washer/dryer, etc. The drinking water is from our well and varies in quality throughout the year but is always potable. Bottled water can be purchased at the store. Overall, the kitchen is for people who love to cook and even has a wine fridge. We enjoy baking a lot in this house.

Getting here is easy. There are (free) car ferries running nearly every 30min from the centuries old fishing village of Öregrund. The ferry takes 5min. In the summer you will find some fantastic restaurants lining the water in Öregrund. Drive from central Stockholm to the ferry takes about 1hr 45min (30min less from Arlanda Airport). The drive on the island takes another 7min from the ferry.

Please note that an extra fee is added per person with groups 6+ so to cover the extra guest house costs for hosting larger groups.
Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a kitchen, a washer/dryer, and 2.5 bathrooms.

Schönes Haus mit einem Makel

Das Haus ist ein Traum; einmalige, ruhige, schöne Lage, großzügiger Terrasse und liebevoller Einrichtung. Nur die Wasserversorgung aus dem hauseigenem Brunnen mit üblem Geruch wird uns leider in schlechter Erinnerung bleiben.

Eine Oase der Entspannung und Ruhe

Das Holzhaus ist einfach toll, eine wohlfühl-Atmosphäre. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Schöne Terasse, die um das ganze Haus geht und an jeder Seite Sitzgelegenheiten 👍😀. Kleines Manko, man kann die Schlafräume nicht abdunkeln, aber nach 2 Tagen haben wir uns daran gewöhnt. Man sieht dann nachts die Kaninchen oder Rehe durch den Garten hoppeln 😃. Die Sonnenuntergänge sind ein Traum. Die Lage ist einmalig. Direkter Zugang zum Wasser. Einkaufsmöglichkeit mit Auto in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Alles in allem prima. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

This place is awesome

Great location, dreamlike place to retreat and recharge. Unfortunately, the water is sulfurous and colored accordingly, also in smell and taste. We would have liked to have been informed earlier. But the host is super nice. We have enjoyed the stay with enough water bottles very much.
