Excellent service, friendly staff all round. Amazing beaches. Loved the rooms with our own pool. Thank you to room service who assisted me every night with milk for my toddler. Fantastic resort. Loved every moment
We stayed in Four Seasons for 4 nights and during this stay we experienced one the best Services, courteous and very helpful Staff, best food and excellent location advantage. Personal messages to gifts and surprise cookies and cup cakes made us look forward to return to our villas in the evening. Children were not bored even for a moment. Look forward to stay again in Four Seasons...
We spent 3 nights at the Four Seasons to end our honeymoon and are so pleased that we did. The beach is very relaxing and you are well looked after there, we particularly enjoyed the food at the Italian Restaurant and the service & staff that we experienced all around the resort were fantastic.
Arrived a few days before Christmas from Safari in South Africa. Really a perfect corner of heaven. We had two wonderful rooms facing the bay and the week we spent there was amazing. The various restaurants and the service were great. The rooms were super comfortable and kept immaculately by attentive staff. I wish it wasn't so far away - I'd go back in a heartbeat.
If you truly want to escape then this is the place for you from beginning to end a magical time was had and I just don't know where the days went The food ambience scenery people I could go on but having travelled extensively I would thoroughly recommend here
This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the Four Seasons. This time, we got married while we were here! The hotel could not have done anymore for us. The service is impeccable. The food is fantastic in all 3 restaurants with a very different vibe in each. For us, the french food at Beau Champ was just incredible. The food at hotels in Mauritius is generally ok if a little disappointing but the food at Beau Champ is worthy of a Michelin Star with dishes such as seared foie gras to start and a fillet of beef cut from the chateaubriand as a main (with fat chips made from potatoes imported from France!). They also have lobster, wagyu beef and the biggest prawns you have ever seen for a small supplement. If you are a foodie - you can not stay anywhere else in Mauritius. We had booked to stay in an ocean view villa but as it was rather windy, they kindly moved us to a beach front villa. We were also lucky enough to stay in the presidential suite for part of our stay which is just incredible - an experience we will remember forever. Every one of the staff at the Four Seasons from the housekeeping, FoH and beach staff, to the sales Director Bernard, assistant manager Terry and Executive chef Nicolas are simply incredible. Everyone knows you by name and seem genuinely happy to see you. The service is like no other hotel in Mauritius - something that the Touessrok had before being bought by Shangri La (see previous review). We chose the Four Seasons to get married in for a reason and we were not disappointed. The Four Seasons is the top price bracket for hotels in Mauritius but it’s easy to see why.
People make the difference and staff is highly prepared, forthcoming and attentive. Excellent under all aspects. Perhaps more vegan food and ingredients should be available, especially at breakfast. Delighted to have come!
My husband and I have just returned from our 2 week stay at the Four Seasons in an Ocean View Villa and everything about it was outstanding - the resort, food, cocktails, wine, beach, hotel employees; everything! Every member of the resort was so helpful and friendly, we've never known anything like it; a 5 star resort it surely is. Would highly recommend everyone should stay here!
We travel extensively, on all continents, and as a personal aim, I would like to visit at least for a day every single country in the world, after having visited over 60 countries (excluding territories), and one after several other Four Seasons experiences. FOUR SEASONS MAURITIUS AT ANAHITA WAS AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE especially due to the fantastic personnel! Thank you very much to the General Manager of this establishment, Michel Volk, to the Resort Manager, Lindley Thomen, to Darmen Santoo, the Restaurant Manager. What makes this resort the best in Mauritius is not just the rooms (or should I say villas), nor the beautiful beach or the wonderful nature, not even the amazing Golf Course, the absolutely incredible restaurants (great burgers and pasta at the Il Forno, with an amazing view over the golf field, great for lunch), the rich breakfast, the amazing Bamboo Restaurant (Indian, Asian, Mauritian), Beau Champ Restaurant (french food of the highest French standards as if you were in a Michelin restaurant in Nice or Cannes, or Aqua Pazza, with the best tuna tartar that I have ever had... BUT WHAT TRULY MAKES THIS PLACE ONE OF A KIND is the STAFF!!! Thank you very much RAMA VIKISH for helping us with everything, from advices on where to go and what to do, to showing us this great resort and its wonderful "features"... Sofia is looking forward to seeing you again soon :))) Thank you Roshan, from our wedding anniversary, Ana from reception, Daniel from Concierge, Anu from breakfast (Sofia loves the bracelets from you), Sachin, from Bamboo, Roma, from the breakfast reception and Il Forno restaurant. An absolutely amazing baby sitting service (I am very resilient in living my child alone with a stranger, actually it was the first time in her life, but... she cried after the baby sitter :) ). Great diving with Kenny from the Anahita diving centre, great for families, great for couples. The mangrove villa was just spectacular, peaceful, the hotel provided us with a blender for our infant daughter, diapers, baby food, absolutely anything one could think of. Thank you very much everyone, an amazing 10 days stay... I have stayed at Four Seasons hotels and resorts before, but so far this was the best experience. However, it convinced my family and myself (if there was any need for it) to only stay at Four Seasons whenever available.
Having been to many resorts in Asia and S. America, this Four Seasons hotel had excellent service, friendly staff who knew how to pamper the guest! Great resort lay out where one feels exclusive. Villas were well appointed but felt Bali and Cabo were more luxurious! Great temperature in June, windy but a pleasant 25C! Breakfast was excellent, many different eggs. French Toast was so large enough for 3! Crab cake eggs Benedict was different and delicious. Bring books to read and relax!
