Nice hotel. Helpful friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay and would do it again.

Nice, clean, but pricey place to stay. The view was nice, but not spectacular. People working there were extremely hospitable. Food in restaurant was ok, but a little pricey. We have been told since that we could have received our retired military or senior discount had we made the reservation directly by calling the hotel. Because we booked through Orbitz, it could not be changed. Discount seekers beware--booking agents don't always have the best price.

This hotel is amazing and offers a lot of amenities with a nice and friendly staff. The room with mountain view and a balcony was fabulous. I have no complaints, we really enjoyed our stay... Just, the mattress was a little uncomfortable.

The staff, especially the bartender, was very nice and helpful. The rooms were not great. The bathroom had hair all over the floor and was generally just not very clean. The bathmat outside the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been washed in years and the comforter was very smelly. Once we removed the comforter from the bed, the room didn’t smell quite as bad. Maybe I have high standards? I’m not sure. I just wouldn’t call this place clean.

This was a 1-night getaway to Grand Lake for my husband's Birthday, mid-week, fun time! Nice summer evening, great bar/dinner/patio area, and even had live entertainment on a Tuesday night.

Staff and locals very friendly. Beautiful vistas from the balconies. Charming woodwork and very clean.

The Inn was in a beautiful location, and the views were excellent. Basic rooms with nicely updated features, comfortable beds, and a warm fireplace. The only downsides to our stay was that the check in staff was not the friendliest, and the Inn was under construction during our visit. But overall our stay was clean, quiet, and comfortable.

Wonderful place to stay while hiking. Comfortable beds, an activity room/bar with tables set up to play games, talk, relax. Great view of the mountains, friendly staff. Very pleased with this hotel.

My wife and I were looking for a QUIET getaway (somewhere not everyone was already at) and loved visiting Grand Lake in the past so we decided upon this hotel. Since we wanted QUIET (we'd rather drive to fun stuff than live in the middle of the crowds), we decided upon Grand Lake instead of Fraser. This hotel sits atop a hill overlooking the valley and the lake so the view is amazing. The staff is very friendly and provide a very good Veteran discount and take supporting us very seriously - their deck contains a flag for every branch of the military. The environment is very quiet so we enjoyed our mornings and evenings. They have a very comfortable lounge area and deck and the breakfast area is also very nice.

The staff at the Gateway was great! They were friendly and helpful. We loved the decor of the rooms, very western. The knotty pine walls, furniture, and other gathering rooms were fun. We really liked everything, including a substantial breakfast.

Comfortable and away from the tourist crowds that go to the east side of Rocky Mountain NP

Beautiful hotel with every thing good but was promoted on Orbitz as in the town of Grand Lake. It might be in the city limits but it well outside of walking distance from downtown restaurants and shops. Therefore driving and finding a parking place needed!

Limited accommodations in this area Facilities no that clean

The Inn is very close to Rocky Mountain National Park. I really love the decor in the room and first floor lobby. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. View was great, room was pretty clean. Breakfast was great! Highly recommend the Hot wings!!!! Super delicious. Five star Inn!!!!!

Thank you Stephanie for the review! I am so sorry to hear how bad the cleaning was in your room. I have brought this to the housekeeping staff attention. I wish we would have been notified during your stay and would have happily moved you to another room or re-clean the room. I hope you will give us another shot we do usually thrive on cleanliness.
