Charming motel and large room.
Very pleasant stay. I am sorry that we had only one day / night. Interesting history near by to explore. Limited dining options in walking distance but convenient driving choices. I can enthusiastically recommend staying here. Thank you for being such good hosts.
Parking lot small. Even without a trailer. Older motel that has gone through several renovations. Mediocre work. Funky smell inside unit. Can’t say it was a kennel like smell, but it would be similar to that. Bed made up…sheets were loose. Odd dark remnants of something on white sheets. I had pluck them off in order to be comfortable. The one stay served it’s purpose but was a lousy one night experience. 30 mins away to NYST

During COVID, I like motels for overnight stays. You can get in and out without contact with others. Reception in the main house lobby was warm and inviting and COVID safe.
The service is very friendly and accommodating. The room are very clean and comfortable.
Very nice little old-fashioned motel. Antique decor, feels like grandma's house. Reccomend.
The rooms and property are clean and attractive and they have a big pool with deck chairs if you have kids. It's a good place to hang out. The room came with a nice, cold fridge, a microwave and a coffee-maker. The tv had enough channels to give you something decent to watch at night when you get in. And they're central to lots of yard flea markets. There's one even next door. I bought a great occasional table and it was only $17!
Heat could be better, overall cleanness and service is good
