Nice location if you to not want to be within walking distance to restaurant and cafes. We went as family and got a so called suite for 4 people 459€ a night, with a bathroom smelling - nothing was done about even we complained two days in a row. The sofa the kids slept on looked as something that had been bought in a second hand shop. and had never been cleaned - lousy! The breakfast buffet got close to the 5 stars but the rest closer to 3 STARS ONLY. To complete this review I would like to call the attention to the email we received not realizing not from trip advisor although it looked that way but from the hotel asking for a review that was never posted very clever Spanish people. So if the review is good it will be posted if it bas it will not appear.
One night stop on our way to elsewhere. When I asked the receptionist why the price for the night was exactly the same as with booking.com she said she didn't know and would inform the management, but no reduction was given. Carrying our suitcases up the stairs (no ramp) there were 3 men who greeted us warmly (management I would think) but no offer to help. The (male) receptionist was quite haughty and didn't have a smile to his face. The same applies to the other 2 lady receptionists. Uncommunicative and non welcoming. Had to pay "handling costs" for the ski pass. Lovely view from the bedroom with nice toileteries. No shower just bath with shower overhead. Comfortable bed and pillows. Spa area too expensive and too small. Nice buffet dinner but perplexed as to why we were served (we paid by the glass) different wines filled to just 25% of the (average sized) glass. Nice buffet breakfast. Lovely pretty cosy family atmosphere hotel. Ski lift just in front and ski shop. However a bit isolated so you have to take the free shuttle to the center, otherwise just stay in the hotel for a relaxing holiday. Apart from the Reception staff, all the other personnel were very nice, the waiters, barmen, management and cleaning ladies. No complimentary bottled water in the room, no bed turndown or chocolates and you have to ask for the key to the safe.
People in nice environment. Good snacks in the cafeteria. Skiing facilities on check out day. Good transfer to the center of Prado Llano. Big rooms with pillow selection. Large lobby with spacious lounges and dining room with mountain views.
Staff 5 star, food 5 star just need better seating areas for groups of people to have a drink after skiing. Outside is fine but as soon as the sun goes down you need to come in. There isn't a nice comfy area you can relax and have a drink and play board games with the children, this is what you want on a ski holiday.
At the top edge of town so not walkable. A chair lift terminates just outside which was handy for returning home, plus you can ski in / ski out if conditions allow. A regular shuttle bus worked perfectly. Room was large and comfortable with a good shower and bathroom.
Decided to take a short ski break in Sierra Nevada. Chose this hotel as it was ski in ski out and it was, despite the lack of snow. The hotel also provides an efficient free shuttle to the main town plus there is a chairlift right beside the hotel. It was great. The staff couldn't do enough for you, the food amazing and great other guests at hotel. Definitely return.
Good position of hotel, but extremely expensive to stay and all the SPA facilities were extremely expensive. Disappointing room facilities and pillows uncomfortable, my partner and I woke up every night at 2:00 am
Outstanding stay during family ski holidays from 5th to 9th February. You can start and finish your ski day at the hotel gate. Disturbing noises from the station are avoided due to the location of the hotel. Rooms are large, confortable and quiet. Breakfast is assorted, fresh and palatable. Very professional staff at all services. Special mention for Deputy Manager, Mr. Javier, always surveying all activities and details. As result of his constant implication and of course the cooperative attitude of the rest of the staff, hotel is impeccable and immaculate at every single inch (reception, corridors, restaurant...even the parking!). Special mention also for Mrs. Africa at the reception desk, always trying to please guests and going beyond expectations. Very nice holidays in an amazing environment. As a personal advice, indulge yourself and take a day to visit Granada. Unforgettable
We stayed here with the family for a few days of skiing and fun in the snow. The hotel exceeded our expectations. We booked inclusive of dinner, which is a innovative blend of buffet and a la carte. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. However, we enjoyed the sunny terrace adjecent to the bar the most: a wonderful place to soak up the last sun rays of the day, while enjoying some drinks.
Fantastic hotel in a surprisingly good skiing location. We had fantastic snow conditions and the "ski in, ski out" hotel was great. Room, food, staff and ambiance were excellent. We had a four very enjoyable days in Sierra Nevada. Only negative was an unfortunate incident with the ski shop attached to the hotel (which is not actually owned by the hotel).
