Stayed here for one night during my holiday around Spain; both hotel and room is small but modern and comfortable for a short stay. Another hotel in Spain with tiny lifts so allow more time to go up/down especially when you see groups of tourists. I like the location of the hotel which is right next to a supermarket and many choices of restaurants (like Chinese, tapas etc) nearby.
Located in the heart of the city this was an amazing modern hotel, great food & bar. We only stayed one nite as part of our Trafalgar tour, wished it had been longer. Rooms where very clean with plenty of room, awesome comfy bed.
This hotel is a great choice for the tourist who wants to be within walking distance of all that Granada has to offer. Slightly off the central patch of hotels, this is represented in the price, but the cathedral is just a 20 minute walk away. Staff are welcoming and friendly. The rooms are very large for a city centre hotel. Bathrooms too. Whilst decor Is a little dated, the rain shower over bath was excellent. Whilst there is a great bar serving food attached to hotel - urban gastro and fiod hete is quite good, the separate in house restaurant serving lunch and dinner is no more than a canteen and offers cheap buffet food- probably ok for those in a coach party or similar large group of people ? So overall-very good value hotel for city visit.
Just a bed for the night . All the amenities were reasonable - I did enjoy the choice of shower heads. Breakfast was good. Wifi was also good . Good location... supermarket two doors away ... pharmacy across the road.
Only had a one night stay here as part of a group but overall it was not to bad. Good points: First room we had the window latch was broken when we advised reception they immediately moved us to another room (bigger as well). After coming back from breakfast our door would not let us back in - lovely girl advised on reception advised the battery had gone flat - but 10 mins later we were back in and she had sorted it all out. Drinks at the bar were nice and very reasonably priced!! Bad points: The food was dreadful. We had a buffet dinner (absolutely nothing Spanish about it!!!) and food was just edible. Breakfast was about the same quality. As part of our your we can have as much wine and beer as we like - in this place the waiter gave us one glass and despite being asked numerous times never ever came back and refilled them. I would stay here again I just wouldn't ever eat here again.
Our hotel room was nice and comfortable. We stayed here with my 14 year old twins and my wife, and found it to be a nice experience. It included breakfast, a very nice adjacent bar/restaurant, and they were very helpful and accommodating. The only knock, which was not that much of a problem was the fact that the hotel was a bit below the city center. Not a problem however and we enjoyed our stay.
We stayed in the Urban Dream for one night during our tour of southern Spain and we were delighted with the location of this hotel, which was walkable to many of the attractions of Granada. The rooms (we had 3 rooms as a group of 6 people) were clean, fresh and a good size. Check-in was good - we had a small problem at check-in (not hotel related) which the reception did their very best to assist, going the extra mile to assist - this level of assistance always stays in the memory bank. Internet was free and fast. We did not eat in the hotel, as there are numerous restaurants in the area, so cannot comment on the quality of food/breakfast. Our only negative for the hotel was parking - there is no hotel parking, only a public car park about 100 meters from the hotel. Payment is for 24 hours and because we had two cars, parking was expensive and an additional, unexpected, cost.
We stayed for 1 night as we were touring Spain. The location of the hotel is really good. After we put our valise in the room, we toured nearby and we saw really nice bars and cafes. The rooms are big and clean, bathroom is also nice and the staff can speak english and really nice. Although we stayed for 1 night I truely recommend this hotel for Granada.
Typical city hotel. Clean. Unfortunately unable to cope with our tour group in the bar as only one person serving. Food ok. My room was at the front on 4th floor and I was not disturbed at all by the rush hour traffic! Nearby supermarket. My friend walked back from the centre (she's younger than me), but not something I would want to do in the very hot weather we had. Could always take s taxi.
This very tired bare bones hotel is a long way from thr center. I have nothing good to say, other than perhaps it's ok for a cheap place to stay. One could stay more centrally for a bit more and save the taxi fares, thus coming out even. There are lots of bars nearby, and fsst food, but few if any restaurants. I can't recommend this hotel.
