If you're looking for a good night's rest and simply can't find one on a backpacker's budget? Look no further! In all honesty, this place cost us less than most hostels we booked on our trip to Spain and it felt like a very classy, very comfortable and most importantly, quiet, stay compared to the more expensive, lesser accommodations. The location was very excellent as well. If you appreciate high-end shopping and a livelier part of town, then this hotel is perfectly located for your tastes. It's one of the closer budget accommodations we could find to the Alhambra. Only about a 30 minute walk. You're not very far from the Granada Cathedral either and the very historical part of town.
Location was great! Room was small and dark - there was a window - looking at backyard. The coridor was narrow and outdated. It looks better from the pictures. breakfast area was really small and the coises were limited. couldn´t take a bath because there was no bathplug.
Superbly located in the centre of the city, Hotel Presidente is close to the major attractions & happening areas of the city. Spacious rooms, helpful staff and proximity all combined to make our stay enjoyable...
I had a 18 days trip to Spain and Portugal in september with my family. For visiting Alhambra we stayed one night at president hotel. The location is good and we used its car park .The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. The led us to Alhambra. The room had some problem with bathroom tub.
This hotel is very well located, with the most important landmarks and amenities closeby. It has a car park, a bit expensive and with no direct access or lift to the hotel. It is located on the first floor of a building and with no lift either. The room was fine but it stinked some times. Buffet continental breakfast, but enough to start the day. The staff is quite nice and informative. At the end of the day, a good hotel for a couple of days with no frills.
I travelled with the purpose of have a nice weekend. I slept most of the day at room and it was so quiet. It was clean and the sleep quality was perfect. I will stay again at the same host. I think it was a good experience
We stayed here 2 nights in Jan 2016 and were reasonably happy with the place. Check in was efficient - reasonably friendly lady with superb English. The rooms are a tad small and basic although they have most things you need. Couldn't get the aircon to work properly (Broken remote ?) so it was either a bit too hot or cold. Wifi was great. Shower worked well - loads of hot water. Breakfast was in something of a dark room - nice enough food I suppose - standard breakfast buffet - not an astounding amount of choice in the bread department but lots of choice of Jams / Honey etc etc (Bizzare Signs telling you not to move the tables or push them together - not to take things out of the restauraunt area etc ect - can't recall that many "do not move tabels together signs on my travells !). So yeah - no surprises or annoyances - basic clean hotel in a good location.
This hotel presidents is good value clean nice buffet breakfast.friendly staff.its central shops on your doorstep.bars restaurants.the cathedral 3 minute walk away.Alhambra 30 minute walk need to be fit its uphill or transport taxi or bus.well worth a visit.will be back.
First class location, decent room rate ,in need of a full refurb, staff ok, in room 27 very noisy as on a corner and traffic and late night revellers can be heard in the early hours. Bathrooms still 80s spec and very tired
The AC in the room was set so that it constantly blew ice-cold air on the bed,and if you turned the AC off it was 10 minutes before it was too warm to sleep. Add to that the constant music/noise from the pool area and the pubs nearby and the rock hard beds - not a good nights sleep. People where actually queuing up at 8 in the morning to run out and reserve the sunbeds, if you where to go down to the pool after 10 you most likely had to lay on the ground. We paid the extra money for the buffet, which was ok I guess, but the second day we noticed that alot of the plates hadnt been washed properly and had food stains on them. We choose to eat out after that. The waiters in the dining room where really nice and friendly, some of the persons at the door where they let you in werent. When we first checked in there was still things from the previous guest there, some kind of customer satisfaction leaflet, where the previous guest had written alot of her personal details. On the plus side, the location of the hotel is good. Only a five minute walk to the beach and loads of pubs and small shops nearby.
