Very kind and professional staff and rooms are comfortable but unfortunately the noise made the staying very uncomfortable. Cleaning ladies start moving furniture around very early in the morning(why not just place some pads underneath). Also you can hear other people in the next room including children screaming! Horrible!
Lovely hotel but they wanted over £300 to upgrade and some views were blocked by a huge rock. It is on the beach but at the top of a cliff.it does have a set of steps down and the beach is fantastic but the waves were knocking people off there feet The al-a-carte evening menu is second to none the breakfast is mainly continental mainly for the Germans there. Pity it's a bit negative but it's not for us.location was perfect close to the old town
I am currently staying in room 308 and must say it has been a complete pleasure staying here, hotel is in a fantastic location and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and very clean. No faults would 100% stay again
Have a great breakfast, the people very friendly and helpfully. the room very clear and the most important thing is near to the beach and the hotel can give some extra time before checking out (1:30) and lt let's to take a shower before leaving, I recommend this hotel
As a 3star hotel I was surprised. Very clean , very friendly stuff, free wi-fi and free PC in the reception, free safe in the room. Cleaners show up everyday. Breakfast worth the money. 1min from the beach, it's located right in the middle of the town. Can't say anything bad. Just great!!!
Stayed here for a week and loved it Rooms great, safe and wifi free, if you have more than 1 device mention it to the helpful reception staff, as 1 code is for single and another for multi devices Breakfast the usual continental but worth the 6 euros in my opinion. Clean and comfortable. Super location near the beach.
Great location, lovely hotel everyone very friendly a must is to try the locals bar on the same road as the hotel made to feel so welcome planning are next visit didn't want to come home. Lovely seafront just outside off the hotel could walk miles. Drinks and food very reasonable
Clean, comfortable hotel. We booked this hotel because of price & locality. Close to the beach, area is a bit run down. Comfortable beds, clean room. We had to ask for a bath plug !! Buffet breakfast quite adequate . We had a room at the front which could be quite noisy at times.
I stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. The staff on reception were very helpful and friendly, getting me bus timetables and helping me print my return boarding card. The room was nice, and very clean and fresh. The television had over 30 channels, though all in Spanish. The location is excellent, just a few steps from the magnificent Las Canteras beach. It is also very close to a hyperdino supermarket which is very useful for any supplies you might need. On arrival there was a nice bowl of free fresh fruit which I really enjoyed. There was also a bottle of free mineral water too. I didn't take the breakfast option (which I think is 6 Euro extra). I was in room 600 and found it nice and quiet and I didn't hear any noise from outside at all. I will definitely be coming back next time. ( To get to the hotel by public bus you can get the 30 to Santa Catalina bus station and walk down Luis del Monte to the last canteras beach front. Then turn left and walk along the paseo and turn left at El Cid. , It's about a 15 minute walk, and the bus costs 2.95 and goes once an hour from stand 5 at the airport)
We like staying in Las Palmas as it is very buzzy with local people and tourists enjoying all that the city has to offer. This hotel is two blocks back from the Canteras beach which is in a two mile long bay, and in a mainly residential area. No pretty views from windows, and curtains have to remain closed as your neighbour's are on your level just over the road. I have to say the young man who was on Reception the day we arrived was not very smiley, and it would have been good to have some useful information available such as bus timetables, rather than just adverts for trips out and places to eat. This is a very clean hotel, thanks to the hard working chambermaids. There was always plenty of hot water, with the simplest of toiletries available, beware ladies, no hair conditioner. After two nights of waking up in bed feeling rather sweaty, I found this was due to a very cheap type of mattress protector, which was a waterproof plastic type - so we spent the rest of our stay there removing the protector every night, and putting back on in the morning! We had paid extra for breakfast which was fine, though the coffee machine, then the toaster did take it in turns not to be working. The staff in the breakfast room were lovely. This was not a cheap hotel to stay at, unless we somehow didn't get the best price from the company we booked through. All these points are why this is an "average" hotel.
