Not real hotel resort!

Positive side: The service is excellent, breakfast is good, swimming pool area also nice, the environment in the bar located next to the beach also nice. Negative side: We reserve the resort at hotels.com and expecting it’s a hotel resort but it turns out as „camping resort“ , also compare to the price range it is totally unacceptable. It should specify clearly! The cottage provided is indeed a luxury „camping site“, not really up to hotel standard. The bed in this price range is unacceptable, area outside is a bit smelly, also you cannot really swim in the Beach located in the campsite as it is muddy and a bit smelly, from other reviews looks like it’s Natural and the resort cannot do anything against it. Besides It’s located 6km from Grado city centre, hard to locate a parking spot in the city centre, also takes at least 45mins if you ride a bike there.

We spent a nice family holiday at Tenuta Primero. We stayed in a superior cottage which was brand new and well equipped for self catering. The title "cottage" is a little misleading, in my opinion, as it is not a house built from bricks, but a container-type accommodation. However, it was very clean and had everything we needed, including towels and aircon. It was a little small, but we spent most of the day outdoors anyway. It was a shame we couldn't make more of the spacious veranda in the evenings because of the mosquitos, but the campsite is well prepared for that, with nets on all windows of the cottage. I think the location of our cottage wasn't ideal as a digger started working right next to it at 8am. But we couldn't really be upset about it, as our 2-year-old hugely enjoyed the daily spectacle! Other cottages are located under leafy trees and close to the beach. The beach is a long stretch of land with several playgrounds and a cute beach bar, and it is great for playing and going for walks. We personally did not use it for swimming because of crabs and seagrass, but that is just what the sea is like in this area. We went to the pools instead which our toddler enjoyed-although it would have been nice if they had been heated. There is a great quality supermarket, restaurant, pool bar, and ice cream bar on the site which are not at all overpriced. All staff are very friendly. And we took a trip to Barbana island on a boat from the Marina, which was a fun experience.

Friendly Service, Spacious and clean room

The customer service was great and friendly even though I didn't speak Italian. The suite is not a traditional hotel which threw me off for a bit in finding its location. The room was spacious and it came with a fully stocked fridge with free goods. It was in a nice location in Grado, although Grado wasn't that nice we were able to drive to other cities.

Wir waren sehr positiv von der Unterkunft und dem zuvorkommenden Personal überrascht. Wir wussten, dass der Pool saional bedingt geschlossen und der Strandzugang eher für Familien mit kleinen Kindern oder Hundebesitzer gut ist, daher waren wir nicht enttäuscht über das seichte Wasser am Strand. Genial war das Preis Leistungsverhältnis in der Nebensaison und die Vielzahl an Sportmöglichkeiten, wie die Ausstattung selbst. Tennis, Paddel etc. wirklich TOP! Wären wir länger geblieben, hätten wir uns vielleicht einen Wasserkocher bzw. eine Kaffeemaschine mitgenommen. Upgrade der Unterkunft wurde auf Nachfrage sehr schnell ermöglicht...ein weiterer Pluspunkt in der Nebensaison. :)

Nach ein paar wunderbar erholsamen Tagen. Würde ich gerne noch ein bisschen länger hier bleiben, trotz Mückenalarm und einem Abendessen im Restaurant, dass eher einem Abenteuer glich. Mal davon abgesehen, dass der Hauptgang (gemischter Fisch vom Grill) kalt und vor der Vorspeise (Capresse)kam, waren die Bruschetti leider nicht essbar. Das Brot hatte den Härtegrad von Stadtleitungswasser. Dafür war der Wein, die Pizza und der Chef vom Service der absolute Ausgleich zum doch recht gruseligen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir würden trotzdem wiederkommen und empfehlen es auch jedem. Das Personal ist freundlich und die Bungalows und auch die Anlagen für Camper durchaus gepflegt und sauber. Die Preise im Club sind stimmig (außer im Restaurant) und man kann nur mit Karte oder aufladbarem Armband zahlen. Es gibt wohl noch einige Clubdörfer mehr, hierher zu kommen garantiert Erholung und Spaß. Nehmt das Leben nicht zu ernst, wir sind alle Menschen mit Fehlern.

Wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub. Das Personal war durchgehend sehr nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Leider waren schon einige Bars für dieses Jahr geschlossen aber das haben wir auf Grund der Nebensaison schon fast erwartet. In der Hauptsaison scheint einiges geboten zu sein, das auch Kinder auf ihre Kosten kommen. Besonders gut hat uns gefallen, dass Tiere so willkommen sind. Die Umgebung ist super ruhig. Wir konnten aber mit dem Fahrrad oder dem Auto sehr vieles innerhalb weniger Minuten erreichen. Der Platz selbst war immer ordentlich und gepflegt. Die Lodge war modern und sauber, wir hatten alles was wir brauchten. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es auch direkt auf dem Platz sowie eine Strandbar und ein Restaurant. Wir würden wieder kommen.

A simple and not so expensive way to make holidays and keep head free without any bells and whistles. All you need, small and clean accomodations with good equipement. You can choice to cook in the little kitchen, go the Restaurant at the Club area or you use the delivery service. The service personal is very kindly and helpfull. The Beach is enough to make a good sunbathe. The sea at the Beach is very flat. So it is a little bit difficult to swim. Next bigger town to the club is grado which is a must to visit. Highlights are the water Channels, the ports , the promenade and the old classic Italian houses. All in all it was a very good holiday and we will come back.

Et super fint sted. Beliggenheden er god og pladsens størrelse (knap så stor) gør det ideelt for en børne-familie. Skal man skrive en negativ ting er det, at der kl 11 hver dag ikke var brød samt, at take away var dårligt. Ellers er og var det en meget dejlig campingplads!!

War sicher früher eine schöne Anlage mit viel Grün. Da man nun aber aus Profitgier alles mit viel zu eng stehenden zusätzlichen Bungalows zubaut, geht der natürliche Charme der Anlage verloren. Jetzt ist es wie eine Legebatterie für Touristen. Die ganze Woche kein Zimmer Service, obwohl gebuchte Leistung. Ständiger Baulärm. WLAN funktiert kaum. Wir werden nicht wieder kommen. Great living conditions in the bungalows ! Nice little garden and private sun beds , bike rental (no helmets :( ) and all activities you can imagine in the resort. The only and most disappointing for us was the seafront. Great beach but not very nice swimming conditions.. water to the ankles so it was impossible for the kids (or adults) to use water sport activities...amazing for kids crab hunting since they are in bundles ... nice swimming pools though so we ended up there like most other guests.. I would come back for sure :)
