The place stretches for 5 km on the Baltic Sea and is almost completely surrounded by the forest area Rostock Heath. About 4000 inhabitants live in Graal-Müritz. The place offers you various shopping possibilities. Sights are u. a. the 350m long pier, the 4.5 hectare rhododendron park, the local history museum, the old Büdner houses, the Graal-Müritz church with its 26m high tower or the Ribnitz moor.
