Very underwhelming and very basic accomodation.

Quiet area and that is the best aspect. Toilet seat broken and it was obvious that this had been broken for a long time. Toilet had not been cleaned. Soap dish in shower had not been cleaned for some time. Lights in bedroom did not work. Not able too read in bed.

Travelling through the night from Queensland to Melbourne we were in desperate need of sleep as it was 11.00pm and we had been driving all day and were extremely tired. Unfortunately, I hadn’t read the reviews before booking but tried to stay optimistic before arrival. When we got there there was a weird smell and I jokingly said to my 14 year old daughter, while pulling the bedspread back, see no bedbugs. As I said this a cockroach ran out from inside the bedsheets to greet me - possibly trying to keep the bed warm for us. All jokes aside - I told my daughter and husband not to get under the covers as there might be something else in there and we put towels over the pillow cases 😩. There was another cockroach running around the bench, also some on the floor. Although I do like watching Oggy and the Cockroaches - I didn’t particularly enjoy their antics of (a) Oggy keeping the bed warm for us and (b) his many mischievous friends running around the floor and walls. At approximately 2.45am in the morning there were people outside our unit saying “Should we just knock on the door”, I then heard knocking and luckily it wasn’t our unit 😮. My husband woke up at about 3.30am in the morning to go to the toilet which then woke my 14 year old daughter. When she woke she said mum can we go as this place is gross. I said we have to wait a bit longer to which my husband said, “I want to go too as this place is creeping me out”. We hastily sped off at 4.00am in the morning 😷

Whilst sheets were clean, bathroom was a bit dirty but shower good. Parking was good although very messy and old lounge in carpark. Reception was crowded with boxes but for the price was OK.

Nice little hotel for a stopover. The beds were comfy and warm. However the bathroom and cutlery had not been cleaned. Thin walls and a noisy refrigerator was in the room. Staff were friendly. Conveniently located close to shops, cafe and restaurants.

I liked that it had a kettle, a microwave and a fridge and tv and that it was clean except for the cobwebbed windows. The bed was clean and comfortable and the place was inexpensive. We didn’t expect more than we got.

The place was dirty, bathroom, left used syringes in bathroom cabinet. Toilet not cleaned. Dust and dirt on walls and bench tops. The fridge was filthy. Never going there again.

When we arrived and loaded our bags up to the room from the rear carpark there was a drug deal going down, a man laying in the stairs, another man standing in the stair well approached us and asked us what room we were in and saying he was from reception. Clearly he wasn't as I was just at reception. Both seemed to be off their faces, we got into the room and locked the door, the room was nothing like the pictures shown, it was pathetic. My partner was so scared to be there I walked straight back out and loaded my bags in the car and handed the keys back.

Expect the basics and you won't be disappointed

I have been here before and am used to the rundown condition. Mostly tradesmen but also many regular colourful characters. This time I got room 26 in the courtyard. It was noisy until 11 pm. Next time I will ask for a room facing the carpark - last time I had 12 or 12A which were much quieter . Sheets were clean as usual. Didn't use the TV. Fridge works fine
